PAX Prime has come and gone but the excitement that resulted from our presence there is still lingering amidst our community! If you couldn't get to PAX this year and haven't yet learned the scuttlebutt from players on our official City of Heroes forums, Newsrama has just published a summary of the City of Heroes:Going Rogue And Beyond panel that took place last Saturday. Amongst all the features to look forward to, the panel attendees were most particularly excited by the announcement of the Fitness pool becoming inherent with Issue 19 and the news that the Issue 20 Closed Beta is imminent!

But there is plenty more to learn from this year's PAX Prime City of Heroes panel so be sure to head over to Newsrama now and get the latest on upcoming content Issues!

I'm kinda surprised that I19 is gonna be out so soon.

I always wondered if the sale of CoV was inflated by the CoH players who simply wanted access to the bases. That was hnow they got that one to even those that cared nothing for the villain content.

Well, a lot of it is stuff that was intended for GR, but was removed to get a little more work done on it, so a lot of I19 was actaully ready when GR was.

Can someone explain what the hell that even means? The game's stats show stances? What, like it's got a built in RottenTomatoes metacritic engine? And "going good" has been overwhelmingly more popular than the reverse, which is.... "good going?"

I seriously hope this post is a joke.

As for the news, they are finally getting something done, but not so sure about the fitness thing.

Assuming you're serious, methinks it's a very poorly worded way to say that turning a Villain into a Hero is a more popular option with than turning Heroes into Villains.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.

good luck D.B.B.

They mean that the vast majority of side switching has been from Villain to Hero.

it means more villains are emigrating to Paragon City than vice-versa.

I realy hope we can still fully slot Fitness when it becomes part of the inherent set.

This is kind of interesting, especially from my P.O.V. Imho, the villain content is much more fun - I haven't leveled a hero up since Dual Blades, but I've done many villains since then.

However, I have taken more alts towards blue than red simply because I have MMs I want to solo (dual box) TFs on and the red side TFs are not conducive to my playstyle (those end of TF gimmicks really screw with pets).

Aside from that though, anything I make will probably a) start in Praetoria and b) go red whenever the Pr content runs out.

PS. What is the color code for Praetoria? Yellow? I say that because you start loyalist...

You can - all 4 Fitness powers will be fully slottable.

My only full conversion is my brute to a Hero, and that'll change once she gets all the badgs. Most other characters are going Rogue and staying there.

I'm trying to figure out that whole summary by Newsrama. I know the vagueness was not the fault of the "author", but the incredibly bad grammar? I mean, I know I see good reporters "clean-up" what was said without changing what was said all the time, so what happened here? I guess it was either a bad reporter or done on purpose, which really would throw me, not to mention speak very badly for Newsrama.

Also does it really surprise anyone that the the tendency has been toward villains going to hero? I personally like CoV much better than CoH, but even I have to admit that the content CoH side is at least two to three times greater than CoV, and has been since the very beginning. Pretty much a no brainer.

I know this is slightly off topic, and I'm guessing many people have already asked this, or someone's going to bash me for my lack of knowledge, but may I asked what this "End game content" that I keep hearing about, means? I'm hoping it doesn't mean the end of CoH itself...

That's what made me bring it up, plus it was on my mind for awhile. Sorry if this is too out of place.

Endgame content is the Incarnate system, for making 50s more powerful - it has nothing to do with ending the game

They are talking about the Lvl 50+ content so people can kep playing their toons even after they hit Level 50, without having to Mal/Ex down to a lower level and play on lower level teams.

Completely wrong and the opposite! I believe with no facts.
