So no, you're not reading it right. It's 3 days, plus 3 hours.
I notice that the announcement doesn't mention Prestige being doubled. I assume it still is, just like it always has been?

To be quite honest, I'm a little saddened by this announcement. But I don't think this is the place to state why. Most of you probably know why. Especially since it's an 'extended double XP weekend'.
Now if I could actually attend it, the 'happy' points would cancel out the 'sad' points. But I can't even attend it. So I'm a sad panda.

Now I have an SG-mate who is getting issues, but a good portion of that seems to be her router (I think its going to need to be replaced, its requiring frequent reboots and after each reboot the lag goes away).
Then there was the PuG member who last night dropped 3 times in the cause of 5-6 missions.
1) You are not alone, but you are in a minority
2) there doesn't appear to be a general issue (Like the PWCC one) affecting the majority of folks
3) work with Support, and maybe if there is a localised issue with a switch/router somewhere in the internets, they can pool data from several customers and get it identifed so the owning company can fix it..

Double xp weekend is great (I'll be logged in). Also, I've been wondering what's in store for the upcoming Halloween Holiday.
I did a search and saw nothing; besides that, I figured that the festivities are about to start up.
Does anyone know if some Halloween stuff is starting up this weekend as well? It would be a great promotional in conjunction with the double xp weekend...
Anyhow, if you are aware of a thread discussing it, would you please point me to it.
Once again double XP weekend happens on a weekend that I won't be around, sigh sometimes it sucks to try to take advantage of a three day weekend and get away (Columbus Day in N.A.).
I guess it sucks to be me.

Also I wonder if it would be possible to update the Giant Monster/Event alerts for Halloween to send out "Jack has spawned in Grandville" "Jack has spawned in Peregrine" "Eochai has spawned in Mercy" etc.
