Arc Name: Give them Hellions!
Arc ID: 49948
Faction: nuetral
Creator Global/Forum Name: @gruumch
Difficulty Level: lvl 1-14
Synopsis: This mission is designed to be a low level starting story arc. The primary group is Hellions. There are 5 missions in the Arc. First mission is find an object and then the rest is a series of boss fights.
Estimated Time to Play: I finished it in under an hour.

I designed this arc for low level characters and you can start it at level one if you like. You will fight Hellions the whole arc, but I have added some custome bosses to spice it up a little. I ran the arc solo with a level 7 BS/Shield scrapper.

I've done a few arcs on my lowbie MA only brute, that I'd like to suggest:

1001 - Johnny Sonata and the Hitmen
1931 - The Do-It-Yourself Laser Moonbase Project (Was a bit rough but manageable)
1006 - Ripping Out Reform: A Rogue Island Police Story (Had a Wyvern EB in one mission, but I was able to beat him pretty easily)
6017 - Mercytown: The One With All The Fish
44333 - "Healing" the Lame

All had a great story and were fun to play.

I'm crushed! You didn't include mine! (Future Skulls, ID #4727, Skulls, Coralax Custom Group, Level 1-15) The Johnny Sonata one is pretty good though.

Well my MA arc is a 3 mission arc for levels 5-15 although I would suggest a group for the last one and is neutral.

The name of the arc is For me Ancestor

I published a lowbie villain arc, it's meant to be a sewer run available to villains with a very small story to keep it together. First mission is 1-10, 2 and 3 are 1-14, while 4 and 5 are 5-15.

I too have run into EB's in almost every mission I've tried. Had a feeling this would be a problem so my one and only real mission so far is specifically made to be reasonably easy and short. It is a custom group as that is the story (The Chillions, basically a cold version of Hellions).

But no AV's, no EB's and I inserted a sonic/empathy defender and an earth/kinetic controller as allies. Those kind of buffing helpers definitely make things nice, not to mention earth's -def help at that level! And they don't tend to...usually...steal too many of the kills.

Already got one comment from a lvl 12 scrapper specifically that he was so glad to finally find a mission he could solo at that level.

Arc ID 37574. Not saying it's a masterpiece as it's my first effort, but it's getting 4 stars so far, I'm happy.

I'll have to try some of the others mentioned here, great thread.

Holy crap you people are creative... @_@

It's going to take me a bit to go through all of these but I'm looking forward to it at the same time.

Hmm...

I think I'm going to have to write this all down as a list.

I have fine tuned my low level one mission story. It's much better balance now. Give it a shot.

Name: A Hero is Made, Not Born
Arc ID: 20863

I decided to move to very long missions and just played one already mentioned here: #6017 Mercytown...

The context is villainous, but it is neutral if not heroic actions. First definite 5 I've played.

I made one specifically for level one and up myself.

Nuclear in 90 - The Fusionette Task Force.

it seems to be getting good reviews so far.
arcID 58363, Hellion filled goodness all the way through with a few customs as lieutenant or boss level bosses.

This really is a great place to start for level arcs.

Just finished a low level mission arc, in a series of upcoming arcs, based on a custom group; hopefully they won't be rough.

Name: Operation "Spray Can"-A-Thon
ArcID: 71628
Enemy Group: Skulls and Custom Group
Note: I do have an EB at the end, but it depends on your difficulty level. If at the lowest, he'll spawn as a Boss.

I have two arcs that fit the bill:

#1345: Jumping in feet First. Levels 1-9. It has been specifically optimized for the level 1 newly-rolled hero. 3 missions that will get you almost exactly to level 4 when solo, I've had positive feedback on the story and characters, and I actually had to up the difficulty of the last mission because it was too easy

#61013: The Invasion of the Bikini-Clad Samurai Vampiresses from Outer Space!: Level range is 5-25, heroic; it may be a tad difficult on the lower levels due to the presence of Vahz zombies (only the zombies tho!), some custom mobs I've really tried to keep toned down, and a couple of hairy spots on the second mission. BUT! If you are playing a really low level alt, chances are you'll level during the second mission and end up fighting -1s (it's a bit on the long side), so that should compensate.

I don't have them done yet, but I've got two in the works. One is specifically intended to be a new tutorial on how to play that explains pulling, buffs, and anchors. The second is an arc with mobs that span levels 8 to 20. I'm just having a hard time with part of the end of it.

My first short story (detective fiction) came out in Jan-2012. Other stories and books to follow, I hope. Because of "real writing". COH was a big part of that happening.

I've got one for levels 1-10 - but I unpublished it to make some structural changes.

Plus it got 1-starred w/no feedback.

I've just published a level 1-15 arc that contains some campy humor and a variety of both low powered custom mobs and stock level 1-15 groups.

Name: A Day at the Kings Row Precinct
Arc ID: 71962
Length: Long (3 small indoor maps & 1 outdoor map)
Mortality: Heroic (though villain players may enjoy it too!)
Description: Most new heroes start their careers off with a trip to the sewers, you've decided to hit Kings Row.

If you like bad puns, homages, reading through bios and NPC chat please check it out!

I made a pretty easy arc (62157) for new characters a few days ago because of this thread! Please check it out if you'd like; I'd appreciate it very much!

It's a 4-mission Virtual Superhero Simulator for anyone that wants to see what it's like to be a Superhero

Synopsis: A great way to start leveling up a New Character! Live your dream to be a Superhero! In our Virtual Simulations you get to live the life of a Superhero, but without the worries of getting hurt!

PS. I plan to try out some of the others mentioned here too, thanks! Great thread.

Mine is up now. It's actually level 8 to 20, but if you can take a Gold Bricker you can run the arc. 2 Missions can be stealthed, but defeating most of the stuff on the way to the back should be pretty lucrative.

FHB Issue #1 : Historical Distruption
Arc ID # 74559

It is the first of 3 episodic or issue based arcs this one is a neutral themed I am working on the hero themed one then the villian themed one all based off my own characters.

All my arcs will be designed for level 1-54 but untested on higher level chars so feedback will be very helpful.

Happens to everyone. For every 9-10 3-5 stars I get with either constructive feedback or praise I get at least 1 1star with no feedback.
