Or should it be who?
Anyway, I've been considering barrior secondaries off and on but but I truely can't figure who they would work for.
So I, the humble uninformed ask the wise greatly informed what primary aka set of minions gain more from a leader that can shield their lives but can't bandage them. -

Anyway, for an endurance heavy armor set, seems like a jack of all master of none type thing at first glance but that is at a glance. I want to know how effective is the set and maybe an extra bit. What seems to work well with it? -
I agree with this thread.
I already hold the idea nothing I make could remotely be called special but I have played some A-Arcs that I felt were really really good.
The Arc- system is a fantastic piece of work but it suffers by having the good overshadowed by the bad. If the good stuff had an easier chance of getting recognition then maybe.. just maybe... more people could enjoy the talent some Co* gamers have. -
Mind you, this question is posed by a person who doesn't really collect sets of anything so it's more or less focused on common invention and single orgin enhancements.
As of late, I've been making tankers and brutes. (and I'm tempted by scrappers and stalkers) The problem is that between most of the sets, it feels like it's an all or nothing choice. Skip one thing and it's like I will likely gut the set. Makes it kind of hard to choose when leveling.
So the question is, what set leans more towards 'you can get it later' instead of 'you better get it now' when it comes to the powers in it?
It would really lower my stress levels. -
Is there an issue witht he super booster power pack? I appear to be unable to get it.

Spelling and Grammar have never been my strongest subjects.
It's hard trying to establish that all this is happening in a 30 minute frame. That and the Compass doesn't control time but allows the holder to go uneffected by it. IF there was a way to link missions under a single a timer I would do that but I'm pretty much limted to what I could mention in text form. -

What I've seen from using Wiki doesn't really work.
I'm half assuming it has something to do with Vista. I just just gives me a to allow or cancel then it starts the game client like normal. -

On a side note, I like How Dual Pistols works but those animations are a bit much. Of course that is completely personal opinion. I don't mind movement but geeze. -
Yeah I figure, I just really felt the need to mention it after reading ReclusesPhantom's post. It did mention apparently breaking your arm trying to shoot a non-sawed off shotgun one handed, among other things.

1. Bean Bag: Usual Shotgun animation with flying bean bag.
2. Solid Round: Fires the shot, Then 'next round' reload animation.
3. Buckshot: Standard animation.
4. Aim/Boost Range type thing...
5. Explosive Shell: Loads the Shotgun then fires a fire bullet that explodes if it hits.
6. Heavy Rain: Pumps the barrel twice before shooting in it at an upward angle. Large pellets rain down on target.
7. The Driller: (suddenly have the urge to say you moon walk first.) Kneels and jambs the Barrel Into the ground before firing. A bullets spirals out of the ground under the target.
8. Wonder Buster: Kneel and shoulder Cradle Stance. Fires single around that explodes where the target is spreading out smaller rounds creating a ring(ish) explosion.
9. Big Bertha: The forbidden hold the shotgun out with one hand shot. Yet unlike reality, Shooting this way doesn't break your arm because you are cool like that. Err... Yeah and the and the shot should be a full auto esk cone because the bullet causes a sonic boom as it travels and that's what's doing the damage.
Ok... so techniquely that's 8... or maybe 7. But there you go 9 shotgun animations... -

Why do people have such strong Alt'itus? Because this is a game of creation. Give more and more and more options and the creators will drool.

Combat..... I can really think of one thing at the moment.
You know those oh so scared runners? Make them actualy get help from whatever mob they run into rather then run past them. It would give you a point to not letting them run besides the 'wait for them to come back'. -
Anyone consider special mission maps where werehouses, bases, etc are all blown up to a huge degree and we are simply fighting in a section of it.
You can do alot with transporters.... buckle your seat belt. -
How many variants can we have before we run out?
I was thinking about possible power sets and what not and just had the thought. How many times can we alter something?
Fire Blast, Fire Melee, Fiery Aura, Fiery Assault, Fire Control
Ice Blast, Ice Melee, Ice Aura, Icy Assault, Ice Control
Man there is a lot between Fire and Ice

On an 8 person team, only the melee types should be that close. (So, if you're thugs, you should order everyone but your Brawler to stay at range.)
So that would be any Brute/Tankers, Your Melee Pet, any scrappers/stalkers on the team, and maybe a Kin if Ghost Widow times it right. Not enough to full heal unless you're all in melee range.
Using [Gang War] summons 10 Melee Pets whom Ghost Widow will summarily devour. (Seriously, GW's Dark Regen is a OHKO for them)
So don't do it!
It's kind of the reason I've never been on any of the raids. Getting any kind of 'loot' at that point is just rather pointless.
So yeah, no idea she had that power. I was always murdered in the middle of the ultra hold of ultimate doom.
Only did the .. ITF(?) that has romulas(sp?) once and I figured you wanted to back off him when he ressurrected because that would stun the snot out of you. -

It looks good to me. As for chosing from both then I think the best idea is to use an off shot of the system that exist for selecting one of the 'epic' arch types/ Shield defense. Best case being shield defense. You pick shield defense, it blocks powersets that cannot work along side it.
So in this case, you chose one power from one branch, the other power on the same tier on the other branch is now blocked. -

What if there were sub versions of the existing powersets. Sort of like how they set up the Soldiers of Arachnos. Level to a certian point. Do respec force (so it's not just some willy nilly deal), and unlock the chance to keep the current set up even when you respec or switch to a more specialized version of the chosen set(s)? -
I think they sort of blew up the old faultline and put a new one on top of it.
Anyone remember? It was eather that or Rikti war zone that when revamped, people who at one point logged off there were later logging into the old forms of the zones. -
Have you looked in Lady Jade's Power suggestion thread? There are alot of ideas in there.
