  1. Most of the time I run tip missions on multiple characters. I will also run SSA's for the rewards or on characters that haven't run them yet.

When I get really bored I will bring out the farmer and just kill lots of enemies for a little while.

I have to agree with you here. Brutes solo better than any other AT in the game. This is why I have so many of them at 50.

Maybe it is just me, but finishing a mission faster normally means the toon can solo better than the one that finished slower. I guess everybody has there own definition of best though.

Of the 3 toons listed I only have experience wit the Ill/Rad and mine was very good at soloing (meaning he completed missions fast and had little trouble with moderate sized mobs)

    SJ/Stone help...

See what you think of this build. I made some changes to focus more on recharge and run speed, but made a few sacrifices on survivability. I still think you will be plenty tough enough though. Run speed with Granite is 21.4mph and s/l defense is 46.5%(f/c/e/n is 31%)

  6. If you want to exploit the stun in fault you could roll a stone/dark instead. Fault stacks very well with oppressive gloom. You can have entire mobs perma stunned.
Endurance can be an issue on that build though.
  7. Even better would be if the Devs would make player housing using the base building tools. Use inf instead of prestige to build them also. That way we could have character/account houses without being forced to make a personal sg/vg.

This would explain why I didn't see anything wrong. It's good to be a villain.

an PBAoE Aura, preferrably one that does damage, but happy with a buff or debuff.
    There are several sets that provide both defense and resistance;

    Invulnerability
    Stone Armor
    Dark Armor
    Energy Aura

All of these sets also offer self heals and some sort of aura. Any of them would be good.
  10. These look pretty cool. I think I will be getting these tonight. The fish monster parts will fit perfectly on my latest tank project. All the dark armor powers are colored to look like water flowing off of him and he carries coral hammers.
  11. There are already several Psi melee powers in Blaster and Dom sets.

    Mind Probe
    Telekinetic Thrust
    Drain Psyche
    Psychic Shockwave
    Concentration (Buildup)
    World of Confusion

Add a few more ST attacks and Taunt and you have a set.

Drain Psyche and World of Confusion would probably fit better in a defense set though.

I have to agree with you on this. The set should cap your resistance to negative energy damage. Other than that the set can be very good if played right and IO's help a whole lot.

Making this much Inf turned out to be rather easy once I read all the good advice on here. Most of that came from crafting mid-level IO's I got from bronze reward rolls in the 15-19 level range.

The other thing I did was quit spending for about 2 weeks. I have several 50's with billion inf builds and all of them have pretty good IO builds.
  18. I have been spending quite a bit of time playing the market the last 2 weeks in an effort to cap at least one character at 2 billion inf. I finally made it Saturday night on my main marketing/farming Brute and then did it again on another Brute Sunday.

I was really only trying to cap the one, but the money was rolling in so fast I exceeded 4 billion almost by accident.

I rolled WM/EA way back when that thread started. With all the buffs the combo really isn't bad at all now. I have spent close to a billion Inf on mine, so he is pretty tough and I haven't even repecced him since the buffs.

I liked Dr. Graves arc also, so you are not alone. I also just like playing villains better.
  22. Before IO's Stone Armor was very common since it was the most survivable set out there. With IO's so many other set can now be made just as survivable and be mobile also, so you don't see the set near as much. My first 50 was a SM/SA Brute and I really enjoyed playing him back then. Now, not so much.

I don't think Kat/Stone is a very good combo anyway. You will be better off with some other secondary I think. I made a Kat/Regen myself, but he is still pretty low level right now.
