Good synergy with /EA?

So what is good to pair with /EA? I had a ss/ea and a km/ea and just couldn't seem to have fun on them.

Any suggestions? Something that would compliment the set and make it a good fun build?

Any help/advice is appreciated.

Any primary with lots of mitigation, which btw those two have (SS after footstomp)

I think the best pairing would be Stone Melee and War Mace (not because of the thread, it has an early attack that does knockup, Clobber which is a mag 3 stun and the later ones do stun and KD) - Stone Melee in very end heavy so it's a great pairing since you'll have energy drain and Fault early, I'd go with that.

Claws/EA is awfully fun too. I am a sucker for hybrid toons and claws with spin, shockwave, focus and the epic aoe, epic ranged make a pretty impressive tank mage type toon.

The new /EA is silly good. I am actually worried about nerfs in the future. Capped defense by level 25 (with perhaps the least amount of actual IO investment in terms of number of IO's needed), an inherent 15% recharge with enough mobs, a great heal and endurance management? Crazy good with anything and everything. It even has a little bit of resistance and a fairly decent s/l resist number.

Someone mentioned elec/EA and that might be real nice for the AOE too.

It wont be long before this armor becomes a top contender for top 3 when people see how it has changed.

I'll have to say War mace/ea, scrapper. For the added crits to make it even more strong and pretty.

DM is certainly an option for /EA

The added -tohit is always good and the self heal in your attack chain from siphon life is very valuable.

Plus you can never go wrong with the nice damage/tohit boost from soul drain. Consumption there for even more end recovery, but is probably overly redundant in a /EA build.

I've been playing a BS/EA and it's pretty fun. That said, I'm re-rolling him as a STJ/EA as soon as that set becomes available. Claws could be fun since Spin gets so much better the more recharge you have. FM would be pretty awesome too. You could get FSC to <5s recharge.

I rolled WM/EA way back when that thread started. With all the buffs the combo really isn't bad at all now. I have spent close to a billion Inf on mine, so he is pretty tough and I haven't even repecced him since the buffs.

I actually really like my EM/EA brute, although I'm not going to try to sell anyone on its uberosity, as I tend to lean more to concept than min-max. KM might have gotten a similar fit for concept, but the animations would have been ridiculous for the character himself.

Stone and Dark would both fit well in my opinion.

Stone/EA is a very good pairing. I started mine recently (lvl 24 right now) and he's really good. He does good damage (plenty of screen-shaking for atmosphere) and /EA has a nice mix of Def and Resist.

Please try my arcs:

Arc# 63910 "Why Do Bad Girls Like Bad Boys?" (length=Long, levels 40+)
Arc# 401500 "How to Be a Successful Professional Criminal" (length=Very Long, levels 1-10)

I went with Claws/EA, and it's been pretty enjoyable. However Claws goes with just about anything, so I suppose that's not saying much. I discovered that it's fun to sap endurance from enemies with Energy Drain (even if it's not terribly productive), so I took Mu Mastery for help with that.

My next will be Electric/EA, for more sapping fun.

I haven't tried EA on a Brute or Scrapper yet, but i'll vouch for DM/EA on a Stalker. The combo may be good on others as well.

I made a Battle Axe/ Energy Aura Brute tonight just for the hell of it, it's allot of fun looking foreword to getting more powers.
