I persoanlly like debuff+ Oil Slick Arrow +Ball Lightning= Most enemies defeated (EB's and AV's whole other can of worms) or in groups really injured (Like say with a tanker... so a team of 2 in the Abandoned Sewers, doing fine..)
So I'd say while the combination sounds odd ( really TA fits my concept, work with what you have kinda thing) It's pretty close to what some have been asking in terms of TA/Fire (I imagine when fire eventually comes to defenders that they will play fairly close, probably fire defeating foes slightly faster)
Any other opinions?
Yeah looking at Power Sink, it is tempting have a Stalker that has it and is amazing. And Thunder Strike is tempting, but will also consider taking Short Circuit (might respec out Aim or Sentinel or make an alternate build that takes out Group Fly, again concept reasons, as he wouldn't be one of my imaginery childhood superheroes if he couldn't do that.) -
Just got my hero to lvl 40 and I am now wanting to plan out my epic power pool picks. Now taking a look at the wiki I'm torn between Power and Electricity power pools for my defender nut I'm lokking for thoguht on any of the pools.
My Defender is a TA/Elec with Flight and Fitness pools already selected (so about 6 power choices not from my primary/secondary) -
Well this is one I run into with my Hero I'm working on
All Defenders can heal.
My Trick Arrow/Electricity Defender would have trouble healing others (maybe handing out green inspirations) -
I'd rather play as a brute (even though I like the tanker too! it's just brute is little more fun for me.)
Team with? Well as a Brute I kept things moving ( and did the main pulling with Leviathan Mastery..... a couple of times...) and when teaming with other tanks they can herd the enemies for maximum damage of my oil slick arrow so it's a hard choice but then again if push came to shove I'd want one who could take them down faster as a defeated foe does no damage to you, so brute. -
But I liked running to groups to group, gave you a motivation to keep going solo, and annoy your team mates as you wanted to speed through everything (which was fun as I could hold my own against that mob of eight, so they could help or not... eventually those enemies were going down.) Also I needed to feel the benefit of taking and slotting swift for run speed....
Easiest Archetypes Brutes for me, oddly heroside it's a tossup between Defender and Tanker (being able to outlive your opponent is not a bad thing.) -
Trick Arrow/Electricity is working well for me (especially Oil Slick Arrow) but it is a late bloomer in terms of being able to debuff enemies Oil Slick Arrow + Ball Lightning= Foes defeated

I don't know the Defender I'm playing is liking the defense bosst from hover in PvE play, so I'd see the stealth defense bonus similarly. Any little bit helps.

Try a Stalker or a Brute, they can solo pretty well with the Stalker's added bonus ofgoing to the mission oobjectives and just doing them (although you eventually will have to do more than that to get lvls.)
My Stalker is EM/EM
and my lvl 50 Brute is Dual Blades/WP -

Maybe he's a ninja pirate, a pirate ninja or an immortal Egyptian pirate who was raised in Spain and speaks with a Scots accent. You never know.

Did someone say Pirate Ninja Cowboy! Although with my character he didn't have a hook, but yeah go with Broadsword over Katana.... or go both lke I did Katana+Rapier -
Well I think that if the HEAT and VEAT are not transferable that I was thinking they could make new Epics one for getting a hero AT to lvl 50 on villainous content and vice versa. So there are options.

Well I will say that my arc is about my character but not really about my character.....
In that it's not an origin story, you only meet him as a contact (with an older looking appearance so a different outfit than any of my PNC costume's) and you do everything, he just asks for help (I mean it's implied that he is doing other things, like getting the things you need to work, work and he's level 50, the obs your fighting won't give him anything and he has the infamy (money) to pay someone else to help him) -
Well for my brute when leveling up he basically didn't have his toggles on till I got Stamina around lvl 20 or 22 as his damage output was goode enough and he had the hitpoints to survive what was being thrown at him most of the time.

I have a question on custom groups, I'm trying to get the level range between lvl 20 and lvl. 30 and have added the appropriate leveled standard enemies to the list, but they do not spawn in testing and my custom enemies come in at lvl. 50 which I don't want. Do I need to go in and edit the standard foes or something?

Well my MA arc is a 3 mission arc for levels 5-15 although I would suggest a group for the last one and is neutral.
The name of the arc is For me Ancestor
