I remember when I first started joined LD you couldnt pay someone to stay dead, as they would always hit the respawn button forgetting to stay dead for me to get vengance off, being able to stay dead/gather/and time a buff to me takes practice/cooperation/ and maybe a bit of luck. Its on par with a good spike or a great rush and nuke of the opposing team. Thats my opinion anyways, not like the change will affect my 1 vs 1 action. I think that's an excellent point; even without stacking, starting a match with even one vengeance without a teammate death is an unfair advantage.
So.... ahhh..... What's Vengeance? Some new inherent?

I fully agree with Fel.
I'd like to see a quick fix where the res/full health/powers recharged happens a few seconds earlier in the countdown than the ability of everyone to fix powes.
If eventually mechanically veng can get fixed, I think it will be a change for the better.

Thx, that excellent point resulted from being the first to post after Castle, They say being the first to post after a Dev cause your next 5 posts to be filled with wisdom. My first point -- was Vengance stacking wasnt so much the problem as getting it from the getgo while not registering a death on the score board. My second point was to direct CZ to play the lotto, he could become a rich man simply for it being his birthday and his post going in between two of mine, thats like hitting the cycle in baseball but actually cool, lol baseball.
The point of this post is to inform all those who read that staring direcly at a solar eclipse can cause permanent damage to the retina of the eye, so dont do it, k , 2 more posts of wisdom left to write .

When you do put the new tech in to prevent vengence from stacking can you also redesign the LRSF on the villian side so any half way decent combination of villian archtypes can do it instead of relying on shivans + nukes + vengence stacking.

you can still stack vengence using an exploit. I dont tell you how but... 7 stacked vengences is something like 210% defense 100% damage buff, 80 tohit buff, and alot of mez protection.
i just made those numbers up but its around there.
one vengence is like 30% defense, 25% damage buff, 15 tohit buff, and a bit extra mez protection.

if someone dies out or range of the team, when that dead person is tp'ed into your group, if multiple people have vengence qued up in their power try, when the dead man arrives, the multiple vengences will all go at the same time, and it will stack. (which is a no-no, apparently)
Apparently, people have been doing it in pvp, and i know it gets done in pve (LRSF). As already mentioned, if the people (pve or pvp) can't stack it, then hows about nem can't stack theirs, either? It's always fun to find a mob of 5 LTs.

Vengeance is coded to not stack. However, there's a method that allows you to fire off Vengeances from multiple players on the same server tick, which allows it to stack anyways.
As for firing off Vengeance before an Arena match that several people have mentioned, I've never heard of that one either.
And he would have fixed it too if it weren't for those meddling kids!
I'm glad we get a heads up for this. In the meantime, can we call the occurrence of multiple iterations of the power an orgy of outrage?
Vengeance is bugged. Despite being previously nerfed so that a player could (supposedly) only have one instance of vengeance on them at a time, it's still possible to stack the buffs. It's also possible to have someone enter into an arena match dead, so that you can get vengeance off of them immediately upon starting the match.

I'm rather happy that PvP and the ilk are getting attention. Between the work Devs are putting in generally and their focused efforst on making PvP more palatable, this will more than likely be taken care of satisfactoraly.

Please make all relevant nerfs apply to NPC powers too. "NPC Cheating" where NPCs get to play by different rules than us is very annoying to players.
