Every single emotion you guys are feeling right now, we at Paragon feel as well. Many of the thoughts we were sharing yesterday would have been censored on these forums. It's understandable and justified to feel that way.

But keep it clean. You don't wanna go out like that

Zwill, thank you and the rest of the Paragon Studios team for your past and present work. I know how I am feeling, as well as how friends and SG mates on various servers feel about CoH ending 11/30. I can only imagine how you guys feel. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! CoH will be the standard by which I evaluate and judge all other MMO's (tho the idea of playing another MMO just now doesnt appeal in the least.) I'm still holding a vague hope that somehow either NCSoft will reconsider (which I think highly unlikely) or that somehow Paragon Studios and the development team can re-boot CoH with a different publisher (though I consider that also unlikely.) I don't know what it will take to show NCSoft that they have an extremely loyal customer base who all want to continue playing CoH. That NCSoft sprang this so suddenly on everyone stinks and there's no sugar-coating that! However, I appreciate that you want to leave this on a good note (since there are tears enough), so let me reinterate: THANK YOU!!! YOU GUYS TOTALLY ROCKED!!!

I haven't said it in any of the other threads I've posted in, so let me put it here so there's no doubt.

Thank you. To former devs, current devs, community team members alike. Thank you for helping make this the best MMO on the internet. And in my opinion, it'll be a cold day in Hell before some other game tops what we have here.

And thank you to the players, as well, for making the best MMO out there also the friendliest.

I'm just glad to see you're still here, and on a Sunday no less. As I said in a previous thread that got buried, I'd like to see the forums stay behind after the game. I don't know who'll host them and who'll moderate them, but I'd like to see them survive with their current database. It would both retain my home away from home, and it would also, I think, serve as a statement. I said it before that I'll be here until the servers shut down, and I'm not going anywhere. I might not play the actual game much beyond "saving" my characters, but I'll keep visiting the forums.

And if these forums live on even after the game dies, then I'll keep coming back here, and I'll keep trying to behave in a way I would be proud to demonstrate. I know we've all had our ups and downs, and I have more than my fair share of mod warnings cluttering up my inbox. But now is the time for us to moderate ourselves, I think. We've always prided ourselves as a positive community that doesn't condone bad behaviour. This is probably the time to prove it.
