Why bother with the moderation at all if it's technically not your problem any more? Just play the fiddle and if the forums burn, they burn. For the most part, I don't think they would.

Also, the game could possibly be sold with no interruption in service. Letting the online community become a post-apocalyptic Internet cage match would not be in the best interest of CoH remaining viable.

And yeah, I remember.The only one I knew of was Forum Cartel. I think it was a moment of sublime beauty when another poster actually said a few years later that the title was proof that the Forum Cartel was real.

I lost all my chat channels earlier this year and while trying to reassemble my list, I forgot to rejoin (or couldn't get an invite, I don't remember) the Forum Cartel channel.

I want to rant, yell, scream and curse but I will not....at least not here. I have to keep in mind I am mourning a game I have loved playing for 8 years. Others, like Zwill and Posi, are mourning the sudden loss of a job. Even though I want to hop a plane and beat some sense into someone, I find myself wanting to help Zwill, Posi and so many others, ease their pain at their sudden loss.
