I've come to terms with the fact that no other game will let me be as creative as I was here, so I'm taking my writing seriously for the first time in years.

As for anyone who might be going through panic attacks or depression: yes, it's just a game. But panic attacks and depression are not. Try to get some fresh air. Remove yourself from the PC for a bit. Hell, even just going out to dinner at a new restaurant you've never been to before can be enough to shake it.

If you feel it not helping, by all means call your family doctor. I know it's Labor Day here in the states and most doctors are closed. If you are having a panic attack (you'll know if you are since they almost feel like heart attacks), ERs can treat those. It's a pain in the *** like any ER visit is, but once you see a doctor and explain your anxiety attack to them, they are usually very quick on getting you something to calm you down there... so make sure you have a designated driver.

If you are suffering more from depression and can't get ahold of your doctor, do a search for a local "warmline" in your area, usually run by Mayo Clinics or other Mental Health Affiliates. They are anonymous and there 24/7 to help. When you call, just know you'll hear a warm, caring voice on the other end of the phone who is there to listen to you and give you advice on how to go about feeling better.

Yeah, re-read my post. I'm not blaming other games NC Soft put out. I'm blaming NC Soft's marketing department.

It could have been the best game ever and still be alive to this day. It didn't deserve the kind of money NC Soft threw at it in pre-production promotion such as having huge rock shows at e3 that led to NC Soft's CEO throwing a hissy fit when they were told they couldn't hold huge rock shows at e3 and proclaiming that he's boycotting all future e3s.

I actually got the server transfer about a week before I started this thread.

So it's still all funked up.

I am strangely okay with this on the following conditions:

1. Mexican One Fall To Finish rules apply.

2. Singapore canes are legal.

3. Neither Posi nor myself are allowed to wear spandex of any kind.

I have been seeing faster responses to petitions, but maybe it's just been pure luck. We had a clockwork minion stuck in a wall during a Synapse the other day thanks to my Peacebringer knockback and a GM was there before we even cleared the first room on the next floor.

Of course, he teleported the minion out and watched as I used the same knockback power again, accidentally re-trapping the minion. He knew enough to teleport it back out again and I hope he had a laugh at that.

Yeah, my math definitely diverges from his when I earned 34 tokens on launch of issue 21 and he just laid out the math that said I only should have 33. It bewilders me because he had just said 34 a sentence before, so I don't know if this is a typo or a legit math error on his part.
