What is it going to take to get you to move to Virtue today?

A few years ago I played on Triumph. My SG dissolved. I could not find teams. I moved to Freedom. I eventually decided I did not like the farm spam and moved to Virtue.

It seems that I am not alone in my desires as Virtue is now packed, Freedom seems to be declining, and most other servers seem to be almost dead.

We all know that if you are almost dead, only true love can save you.

Maybe you don't want to move to Virtue, maybe you want to switch to a low population server with just a bit more population than the one you are on.

So do you have true love with your server? What is keeping you there?

Do you just love the server name?
Don't want to transfer all of your characters?
Have an SG that you don't want to leave?
Have a base that you don't want to leave?

I'm not talking about shutting down servers or forced migration. I'm just asking if you are truly happy where you are, or if you feel stuck.

Infinity is where I started because it had the coolest name.

It still has the coolest name.

Large payment. In cash. Real money.

I love Union. Friends, SG, characters...it's all there. I don't have any intention of moving. Why would I?

Why does it have to be a everything or nothing thing? I have toons on virtue. I like it because there are tons of peeps and it isn't freedom. (haven't even been erped by a catg.i.r.l. yet. Was told it would happen as soon as I logged on) However, Justice is still home. The chatter is familiar, the vibe is comfortable, it's like going back to my hometown, without the trailer parks and garbage in the streets.

Its not going to take anything, because I moved to Virtue a long time ago. It was a lot of work, not to mention expensive, but I did it.

And I love it there.

Perhaps the worst downside was the naming issue. That was a problem. But being on a server where you can even find a team REDSIDE? Win.

Overall I find Virtue much more congenial than I did Freedom, wich seems to be comprised in large part of kids under 12. No offense, but Freedom is a difficult server to love.

Eh, I'm happy on Liberty for my mains. Not tied to any one server though. I have enough transfers to go wherever I want, but don't see any reason to bother.

I'm on Virtue, and I really don't care all that much that it has a large population. I won't deny that when forming a team or the likes that it is very helpful, but I stay on Virtue because my friends are there.

I play on all the servers - Virtue is much the same as the others

I play on virtue, freedom and justice

But justice is seeming more and more abandoned lately, so Ive been slowly transfering my characters off.

I started on Virtue and I'm still there.

Transfer all my stuff and most of my ingame friends from Pinnacle for me.

To get me to move from Justice, it'll take:

1) Assurance that the names of my five or six most-used characters are free

2) The ability to transfer my personal base (or the prestige value thereof) plus the prestige store of my personal SG to Virtue.

3) Some other damn good reason.

Already on Virtue. I like it there.

I doubt many people are open to completely moving to another server, tbh

Give me another 15 or so server transfers and I'll switch. Alltho I think Freedom is still going strong.

That said I am always in support of a server merge and single server games.

I changed servers a couple of times. From Infinity to Champion to Freedom. These days its 95% on Freedom with a few "guest" appearances on Virtue and Triumph.

I started on Justice when the game launched, and I still have a lot of fun with the characters I have there. The community has usually been good there. But after some time away, I tried Virtue since I'd heard it was the unofficial RP server and in my mind that meant better names, not...the other stuff. And it did generally have heroes with better names. It's busy and easy to PUG which is what I tend to do.

But to spend some time with friends, I made characters on Protector, too. Now, those friends are rarely around, but I've made a bunch of new friends in-game there, friends that I just love hanging out with no matter what we're doing.

So while I'd love for more of my Virtue characters to get more play time (that's where my absolute favorite character lives), I am only there when my friends aren't around or if they're in the middle of a TF when I log in. Most other times, it's Protector: not because it's easy to find a team (it's really easy or really hard with very little rhyme or reason I can see), but because that's where my real supergroup of friends are.

We function like an SG, even though there are at least 4 or 5 SGs between us.

Eh. I only shift my retired characters to Virtue... For the active crew, I much prefer the company on Liberty and Union.

I already have 14 characters on Virtue. I also have around 90 more characters spread across every single other server except the formerly-EU servers (well, Union and Defiant have one unused character each).

There's no way for me to move to Virtue exclusively. There's no reason for me to do so, either.
