That said, no, Beast Mastery isn't great due to several poor mechanical choices.

Gee I wonder how many Dars and Marc Singers there will be. Also why didn't they have a loin cloth costume set even just for this MM powerset alone would be cool.

Really, i don't know.
Not especially looking forward to BM in its current form, but then Masterminds are one of the few ATs i've never gotten past the low thirties. Demons seemed good for a while, but the constant noise really started to annoy me after a while. At this point if BM isn't all that and less noisy i will have to go give my Necro/Storm more attention.

While I have ZERO interest in playing the set after experiencing 46 levels of meh in BETA, I am more than sure that many will not only buy the set but will be pleased with it as well.
Having said that I do expect a fair share of I paid 800 PP's for this poo etc...threads as well.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Saving my points for staff melee. While the idea of a Beast MM is appealing - just not appealing enough for 800pp when everyone keeps saying it is underpowered

Ridiculous could be:1.) pretty much anything in this game (summoning demons, necromancy, etc, etc....).
There are other powers that get bigger on large mobs so...(hopefully those won't go away either).
I mean the immob. tentacles is one power like that.
If the tentacles didn't grow in size to a large mob the 'normal' tentacles wouldn't be realistic in immobilizing a large target since the normal sized tentacles would be tickling their feet....if that.

Now, there's a lot of hate for Male lions because they seem so lazy, but male lions are important too.
First off, a male lion's job isn't to hunt, but he doesn't get to just lay around either. He has to protect the females while they hunt. He has to run interference with other predators, scavengers, giant stampeding things and the like.
Second, if there are too many male lions in any given pride, they're forced to take off and try to either woo females to make a new pride or kill the male lions in another pride and try to take it over. Assuming that they're successful, the Male lions then instinctively kill any cubs in the pride so that the females will start ovulating and bear new cubs... theirs. So even if a Male lion makes it all the way to the top and is able to breed, he doesn't necessarily get to pass on his genes unless he manages to protect those cubs until they're adults.
Being a male lion is a thankless job, and the only reward they get is great hair.
