Took me three attempts to finish this mission. Finally did it by discovering this thread and following the advice. I also Bugged it in game. Towards the end when I just had LR, Mako and Wretch the lag was insane about 5 secs for them to show as defeated in the chat log (after their face-planting animation)and for my powers to cycle back up.

Finally, there's the Endymion/Hyperion books by Dan Simmons. Don't recall too much about them as it's been a while since I've read 'em.
I highly recommend the Dresden files by Jim Butcher. Andre Norton's Time Traders and Solar Queen series. If you have a smart phone or tablet check out Baen's Free Library http://www.baen.com/library/ you can also check out their regular e-book list and read the sample chapters to see if you want to buy.
Also just remembered a wonderful book by James Maxey, "Nobody Gets The Girl" sweet take on the super-hero genre. -

That could be due to your e-mail client/provider blocking external images from displaying. There's almost no text in the newsletters, so it would look like it's empty. I know my Gmail account does that by default. There should be a way to either disable that feature, or add an exception on a per-sender basis.

Is his origin Natural, Magic, Tech, Science or Mutation? All of those could give you a "hook" for the reasons he looks villainous. I would try a variation on a Code pushed too far or if Magic a Geas " you must do good to pay for your crimes".

We also need to know his power sets and Origin. Is he starting in Praetoria or is he starting in Rogue Isles?

I had to go with A, it fits the "gut feel" of the set. I really, Really wanted to go with C because it actually looks more like a rifle with a stock and sight. Major flaw with that was the oblong oval that BLOCKS the sight making it useless. Actually if you could place a stock and sight on option A or move the sight on option C to the top, placing the oblong on the other side and make the rings the same size as on option A that would make it perfect!

I also had a HUH!?! moment about this since I knew the Hero Corp Rep was at the Uni in Croatoa not close to the monorail station. I first ran the arc through Ouro and sincerely questioned this in my home servers Badging channel. I was told it is a Text bug. The mission text should read Steel Canyon. Some how it is borked in that BOTH Croatoa and Steel Canyon Hero Corp Reps will give you the mission. No other Hero Corp Reps will give it to you ( I grabbed the arc through Ouro multiple times and went to every Hero Corp Rep in every City zone to check this). I /bug reported it.
If this is happening to you do the same. -
If this had been listed under Known Issues, I wouldn't have bothered to submit a ticket and waste my time or CS time in trying to fix a "Known Issue" that needs to be fixed via a patch. Since this probably (my guess) ties into the Paragon Reward Tokens and Paragon Points awarding issue it isn't a minor bug and most folks probably haven't noticed it yet since it doesn't bring a Paragon Reward Token with it.

I received the same response to my support ticket. For a Known Issue it seems the only place it has been posted about is in this thread.

Just chiming in here to say I am in same boat as OP, My anniversary date was Oct 31, No 5 year vet badge awarded. Raised a support ticket and still waiting on an 'official' response and still no badge.
