Annual Vet Badges Not Rewarding?

Hi,

I passed my 6 year anniversary in CoH last week. I received the additional Paragon Reward Token for completing a whole year but have not received the 6 Year Veteran badge.

Anyone know if this is busted? Has anyone received an annual badge since Freedom?

I have a petition in but I thought I'd ask here in case it was a known issue or other people are having the same problem.

There have probably been relatively few people to hit an anniversary in the last few weeks since CoH:Freedom started so there might be some lingering bugs that most people have not seen with this yet. I'm sure your petition will work out and for all we know your individual situation here might help them find a bug that'll be fixed for other people in the future.

Let's just hope that Turg doesn't get his a week early and Loth have to hear about it...

I should have received the 7 year vet badge in September. In October I sent a petition about that and my reward token not awarding at the right time. I received a response saying that the reward token would show up on the 28th (it did, approximately), and that they're "working on a resolution" for the vet badge problem.

my annual Vet badge was due 01 October. Nothing received yet.

I did the usual petition and repetition and had a flurry of responses from different GM's/CS guys that said nothing positive. They gradually tailed off with no word for about 2 weeks now.

I did receive one token in the middle of the month but have no idea what it was related to or for what period it belonged to!

I am not sure if the award of an annual Vet badge gives an additional token?

My old system Vet rewards billing/account sub dates were (01 April/01 July/01 October/01 January) with the 01 October being the annual due date.

So because my new system dates are (should be? Man who knows under this stupid system!) due on the first date of the month I think that on the 01 October I should have had one token for the month and my new annual Vet badge and (perhaps?) the extra token that comes with it.

But as it stands, now it is 01 November and I have not had anything so far.

Maybe the live fix today will get a grip of this nonsense!

Don't count on any response from CS. :/

My 7 year badge was due in Sept but not received.

I raised a ticket and it was acknowledged to be a problem "to be fixed with a game patch" at some unspecified point in the future. My ticket was then closed.

I would encourage you to also raise it as a ticket so that it moves up the "priority to fix" list.

I'm surprised tickets get closed when the problem is still outstanding, but that must be their fault management process. :shrug:

Poor customer service if you ask me.

Just chiming in here to say I am in same boat as OP, My anniversary date was Oct 31, No 5 year vet badge awarded. Raised a support ticket and still waiting on an 'official' response and still no badge.

The eventual response to my ticket was "This is a known issue. We are working on it and hope to have it resolved soon."

Not the answer I wanted but they seem to have screwed up so many back end systems with Freedom that I'm not surprised.

I received the same response to my support ticket. For a Known Issue it seems the only place it has been posted about is in this thread.

If this had been listed under Known Issues, I wouldn't have bothered to submit a ticket and waste my time or CS time in trying to fix a "Known Issue" that needs to be fixed via a patch. Since this probably (my guess) ties into the Paragon Reward Tokens and Paragon Points awarding issue it isn't a minor bug and most folks probably haven't noticed it yet since it doesn't bring a Paragon Reward Token with it.

They've been delayed for me too. One account was supposed to hit three years almost a month ago and still nothing.
