Frankly, GW2 is a fantastic game. I was looking forward to playing it alongside this one. And apart from the setting, the game is closer to CoH than it is to WoW. Especially gameplay wise. Fun is the only reason to play or not play any videogame.

Not that I dont completely get not wanting to give NCSoft another dime. I'm furious at them for leaving Paragon out in the lurch with no warning like that. But I'm not going to let that deprive me of an excellent gaming experience within another game they happen to affiliate with.

I was really excited to finally get MinFX for Hasten...

But then the other customizations for Hasten actually looked really good.

Also... Z, would you mind lowering your PC audio when you do these? I keep checking my email everytime your Inbox goes off during the stream.

I cant believe this IO isnt on the Market. Each one I get essentially opens new possibilities for all kinds of alts I wouldnt touch before.

I doubt I'll get enough of them during the event.

Oh and I'm sure the event is fun to. Whatever.

Remove the "VIP" status.

No subs. Everyone's a freemium, and everything goes on the Market.

I didnt buy any Double XP ones, but I bought more than a few 50% XP boosters.

Me and a friend were both hung up in the 40s... so being able to boost my XP and give him the bonus temp as well was totally worth the points.

I'm the opposite of most here. With the changes to Vigilance upping Defender damage solo, my desire to play Corruptors plummeted. Defenders do what I want out of the Def/Corr archtypes sooner and better than Corruptors do.

Will Interface be switched to a PPM style too?

There's no future in PvP.

I have no interest in participating in a system that is not actively supported and developed by the developers. And honestly, there's no reason for them to ever do so.

The dreams of the numbers my SoA can reach with the "Leadership" hybrid are better than what reality probably will be... so I'll keep daydreaming a few more hours.

I hope its Psy Melee... that's my pet powerset I've wanted for years.

Other than that, I could see a storm/wind blast set. Or a ray gun blast set to go with the new Retro outfit guns.

Looked like Elude to me.

Kings Row and Steel Canyon where destroyed in Apex's TF.

Skyway was wrecked in Sutter's TF.

Both looked perfectly fine when I clicked "Exit" This trial has no more RP impact than those did.

I was in a closed beta for a Princess Bride MMO. It eventually failed.

The controls were so convoluted I practically needed six fingers on my right had to play effectively.

Almost soloed that damn OPed Spaniard.

The only thing more ridiculous than the constant "I want Staff NAO!" whining would be the whining about how Paragon hasnt released a new powerset in upwards of 6 months after they released them all within weeks of each other and have nothing close to ready in the pipeline.

There always seems to be something every month that I drop points on.

Easily an extra $15 a month since launch. Zero buyer's remorse to boot.

Also... I wonder if the cost and time requirements for your "Custom Powerset" are really based on how much and how long Paragon actually needs to do that...

Also also... Carp melee is missing from the list... I knew it was real!

On one hand, I've loved every single Powerset that's been released since Freedom. Even the "weak" ones like Beam Rifle and Beast Mastery. I have more alts to level now than my entire time playing CoH.

On the other... getting a Sonic blast that actually shoots entirely from the hands (the last animation pass came so close), a Fire/Ice/Stone melee that is all fists or all sword/hammer, Claws without that "one-two" punch animation, just off the top of my head... would give me just as many new alts to run around and stay subbed playing.

Of the two I'd prefer new animations to spruce up the older sets... but I know new powersets would likely generate more point expenditure in the Market.
