Just had to post again to say... I had to come back here and gaze at these WIP images again!
I can't recall being this stoked for an upcoming costume set before...

I also hope that the rings will be available for both genders, but regardless these designs rock so hard that the house's foundation is shaking.

I think that it would be really really awesome if there was a "fogged up" version of the helmet, or a "broken" helmet (as in oh my gosh what broke into the spaceman's helmet and turned him into a zombie/reptile/alien hybrid/other thing), but yeah, I'll settle down and accept this.

That's what I was going for... more use from the part than just a bubble helmet. (Not that a bubble helmet isn't useful!)

The second backpack isn't too big overall, IMO, but I think it is too wide - which is to say that I think the two rocket pods are just a bit too far apart.
The set looks awesome so far, though. I hope that the spacesuit options are available for Baggy up top and Tucked In down low so that we can have a less form fitting suit, but I won't cry if they're not. At least make sure that the boot/glove options make the transition to such categories, though.

Might buy: Female Shoulders, Gloves, and Boots on the gray costume example, and Female shoulders on the red costume example.
Probably won't buy: Female Skirt on gray costume example.
Definitely won't buy: everything else.
The male costume set just looks really bland to me.
The helmet is going to be Detail 2...
So all of our space heroes have to be clean shaven? 
Incidentally, I hope our clamorous complaints and requests don't scare Dink off. You can't please all the people all of the time, after all, and I, for one, think they're doing a bang up job overall.

Gorgeous set. Really an amazing achievement, both for City of Heroes and the level of customization in MMOs in general.
I do wish we could combine beards with the helmet, but I understand why that's not possible.

Like the look of this but just a few thoughts,rocket pack in pic.2 looks like a V2 rocket on your back possibly make it slimmer and smaller,female stuff not that attractive but that could be down to the bulky looking female,s that are modelling them would like to see a female version of the complete male space suit that looks cool and something I will get.Question with all this space gear are we going to get missions in space i.e a moon base with aliens

Dink, I don't care what anyone else says, that's beautiful, will be bought as soon as it come out by me (presuming the female model gets the same general space suit- there's a reson there. I'm a big Roger Corman/Battle Beyond the Stars/Galaxy of Terror fan) and am just pleased as punch there's some kind of Jet Pack model to attach as a backpack to our characters.
Okay... I'll come clean... Frankly, even the idea of a female space suit is almost ignorable, the Jet pack alone sells me. Give me more jetpack options...

So, i'll guess i'll be the monkey wrench in the whole process and say i really hate this set so far.

That aside, my first reaction to this set was "ZOMG! A new set of large boots and gloves?!? Thank you!" Great stuff so far, though I honestly don't like the faces used in the examples. Are those the Steampunk ones?
I am looking forward to this set, and quite a bit. Thanks!
