I never said I wanted it as fast as the Trials....well..I would, but I know that is never going to happen. If advancement solo was good, nobody would team....so, therefore, the solo path will have to be horrible enough to force people onto the teaming superhighway....by this reasoning, no way will soloists get a fair shake..they can't.

In the latest solo testing on the Beta server, somone has gotten to +3 in 16 days - you won't be "punished" by the solo progress rate

Why not St. patrick's day then?

So you think they'll let a finished issue sit on the back burner for nearly a month just to release it right before the anniversary? Pull the other one, it's got bells.

Looking at two things here.. history from the past 3 years is one.
Second one.. Loyalty program. The Salute to Statesman loyalty program runs from December 1st 2011 to March 31st 2011.
I agree with your point about the loyalty program.
Your point about history is absolutely meaningless, though. Are you including the history while Jack was running the show? Are you including the time while the games ownership was different? Do you think the history while there was a staff of 15 is comparable to when there was a staff of 50? With such sweeping changes behind the scenes, drawing conclusions based on history is a fools errand.

Doubtful.

Right I think they already made it clear that Staff and Beast Mastery would come after I22.
But whenever I22 launches it'll at least have the new Dark Control/Assault powersets.

The history of this game is certainly a data point to look at when making predictions. But I don't read too much into it because even though there may never have been an Issue launched during the month of March there is no rule or law that says that an Issue can't be launched during that month. It's pretty silly to think just because it hasn't happened yet it never will.

Lisa.
What's a fair shake? It's an MMO. CoH has seemed nothing but fair in the soloist department.

A couple days of grinding versus 16 days grinding solo. That isn't fair?

Are you saying that something someone said on the internet is silly?
Because that has never happened before... So, I don't think it could happen now.

I'd say that it isn't. Doing the non-iTrial Incarnate content with an 8 man team (or equivalent thereof) should ideally have a comparable advancement rate as doing the iTrials, IMO. At worst I'd say it should take about 3 times as long.

In other news, Captain Electric's allegiance apparently comes cheap. All it takes, apparently, is a bland Poser-like rendition of him.

To my knowledge the game has never had an exact release schedule that it's adhered to. We haven't even had the same number of issues each year. The current updating model has even added the concept of half issues in addition to adding all sorts of content in between official issues. That's why i'm also not seeing the absence of previous March releases as a compelling reason; especially considering the newer model of releasing (sometimes fairly significant) chunks of content between issues.

Still, i suppose many things are possible and at this point only the Devs really know which of the speculated dates is most likely.

All of the City of Heroes comic makers have my allegiance as a fan. It takes months and months of work and dedication for them to create each comic. People who use their imaginations to make things are my favorite people.

Using the Ouroboros portal I have installed in my den, I time traveled 10 years into the future to check on the Incarnate status of my characters. My granddaughter, now 13, has just recently reached the 56% mark in opening the Judgement and Interface slots. Thread count is 98; Astral merits 13 and Emp merits 5. She signed an affidavit which I brought back with me asserting that she plays the single character solo 18 of 24 hours each day while tethered to an IV for nourishment. She is hopeful she can get the long sought for level bump before her 21st birthday.

My gravestone was inscribed with the text: RIP. Died while giving his heart and soul trying to gain a level bump while soloing the Incarnate path in CoH.

They said something to the effect that game changes from the SSA won't be implemented until i23 because the SSA will still be in play when i22 hits...
So.. i'm putting i22 sometime between the end of the spring event, but before SSA1 part7. First 2 weeks of March is likely.

I'm actually more excited about who will die part 7!

Oh well that's cool and awesome of course. For that, no doubt, GG is good.

Sadly I haven't thought her portrals of signature characters has been all that good, and how she portrays the CoH universe relies to heavy on game mechanics to be any good as well.
