i22 Release date imminent? Lets get excited!

April 9th.
History will show that last 3 years Issues have been coming out in April.
History will also show that never has there been an Issue released in March.
And the only time an Issue was released in February was in 2006.
They will not go for the obvious April fool's joke by releasing it on April 2nd, they have something else in store for that.

However, I'd be fine with pushing it out another month (edit: or however long it took them to do so) so they can get the sound effects of Staff Fighting worked out along with a real power to replace DS.

That said, my guess is Feb 28th only because I hope Staff Fighting which was said to not be released with i22's arrival but during i22, can be released in time for double xp weekend.

I doubt they'll release it before 2xp. They'll want people to come back for 2xp, as they always do, then hit them with the new shiny to get subs and store sales. My guess is that it will come immediately after the 2xp weekend.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the 2xp weekend was specifically scheduled as this type of marketing strategy.

Setting aside the machinations of the marketing team, there's no good reason this can't be out on the the 28th of this month.
Even if a week is not long enough to assess the stability of the current patch, the previous one was stable, and as far as we know, had no show stopping issues. I don't see why they can't roll that out.
I'm not going to weigh in on when I think it will be released, but the 28th is when I think it should be released.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.
Oh God, I hope it's not on the 28th - I'll be getting no sleep between now and then if that's the case trying to get this video done.

Nah, not anytime soon. They still need to put in a realistic solo incarnate path & that does not appear to be imminent.
They've had a few weeks now to tweak the incarnate drop rates, if they were still working on it they would've done it by now.

Ever thought that not the whole i22 part is on beta yet? that instead of throwing everything at once, they split it up? Lessen their workload, more focus on less things?

Look, Golden Girl does have a tendency to make posts which, when taken at face value, sound like she might be in the know, even though she has access to no more info than the rest of us. For what it's worth, I don't think it's intentional on her part. Regardless, she's not wrong all the time -- especially when she's got facts to back up what she says. Don't be so eager to prove her wrong that you end up being the one in error.

With the patchnotes in the beta forums down to wimpy minor fixes I feel its time to start a betting pool for the release date.
I'm going for the 28th, gives plenty of time for fixes before the double xp weekend on the 16th.
