Can we get a confirmation whether these will have in-flight particle effects (like the Rocket Boots)? And if so, what are the emanation points on A; the wings, the central tubes, or both?

Jetpack B fits the retro sci-fi costume pack best. Jetpack A works with the retro set, and is very useful for general costuming.
B is the best retro option, A is a better 'generic' option. So for this set "B" but I hope you guys are working on some generic backpacks/jetpacks outside the set.

I agree with most here if there has to be on B is my choice. I also like C for the He has a BOMB on his back thrill
B is really cool looking so I voted B.

I went with B. A reminded me a lot of the temporary Raptor Pack, and C seemed more comical than retro - like strapping Dynamite to your back. Plus, B's got that whole "Rocketeer" thing going for it.
Edit: Then again, if A didn't have flames coming out of the ports, and instead had those purple "OoOOo" rings (you know the ones I mean) showering it was hovering? I'd side with A.

Though I have to admit that there's a certain charm in strapping an actual rocket (c) to your back...
Also, whatever shape the pack takes, it MUST also include a proper flight jacket and helmet.
I am stuck between A and B, but willing to go with the latter if there's a no-rings version as well.

I'd go A, just because it's the most versatile. Rings are very retro sci-fi, but the problem is that they're almost single-purpose - they don't look like anything *but* that. A looks like the one with the most potential for use across multiple concepts. That said, I do share the potential concerns about how far the wings on A might stick out - it would indeed be nice if we could get pictures with characters for size comparison.

I was torn between A & C, but once again I went for the more Retro one...A is neat but not really Buck Rodgers.. more astroboy-ish
And as mentioned above me , we already have one that looks a lot like A

I'm casting my lot for A in the hopes that we'll have a straight up tie between B and A and get both, because I honestly want both. I think it's a bit silly that we can't get just two options for a jetpack seeing as it's probably THE most requested back detail that's ever graced the suggestion forum, and with back details out for a while now and not a single one made it seems... off. Kinda feeling the same on most of the stuff we're voting on. The weapons could have one or two variants, the bubble helmet base should really just have all 3 base options, and the space suit... well I can see how we really need to pick one we like best, but I don't see how a slight texture variant once we have a mesh built would take all THAT long to make.
Biggest problem I have with the latest costume packs is that we're expected to pay for these but they tend to be straight up ONE costume without much variance aside from tiny little details. At least the magic pack came with three textures for the witch set and bolero and two textures for the baron coat plus a few for the cape. I know alot of this stuff involves new meshes for each item, but for a couple of them? There really should be multiples from some categories to make the set as versatile as possible.

Hmm... so A is a reskinned Raptor Pack, B is a reskinned Goldbricker Pack and C is the only new one.
OK, I went with C. Would like to have all three of them though.

I voted A, but I'd be fine with either A or B. A is a lot like the Sky Raider Raptor Pack, which was what originally got me interested in jet packs to begin with, but B is perfectly usable, as well.
That's a costume item and not a tempermanent power, right?
