Something that seems to have correlated in the bugged runs I've been on, curious about everyone else..

If the Hitter and/or Hacker are fighting security thugs when the TP is supposed to take place, it bugs out.

I would recommend starting with trade paperback compilations of some of the "classics". Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Marvels and Kingdom Come are some of my favorites. I also enjoyed the folio-sized series that DC did with Alex Ross illustrating, but admittedly, that's at least as much because I love Ross' art as for the stories (though I enjoyed the stories, too).

Historically, I'd see if you can find compilations of Claremont's run on X-Men in the 80's (starting around issue #110 or so). This run really defined comics for the rest of the decade, and still has influence today via both movies and younger artists who it inspired. Frank Miller's Daredevil run from the same era is also good, and you can see him start to work towards the things he does in Dark Knight Returns.

Obviously, if you're looking to invest as well read for entertainment, you'll want to get original issues instead of reprints/compilations.

Ever since Ouro was added to the game, there have been requests for a Brass Monday mission/tf/trial/something, where players would travel back in time to participate in this pivotal moment of CoH history. With the addition of the personal story and APB mechanics, it occurred to me that it would be possible to create a trial where players actually took the role of the Freedom Phalanx of the time and fought back against Nemesis' army.

So, I was curious about what people thought of this idea? Something you'd like to play/meh/horrible idea?

Is the change to XP boosters that cause them to auto-activate on claiming new, or did I miss a patch note somewhere in the past couple weeks?

A lot depends on how they're viewing this arc, from a literary standpoint. If this is a stand-alone novel, then part 7 is going to be focused on defeating Wade, which doesn't give you the scope to kill off another big-timer without trivializing it to squeeze it in. If this is meant to be the first book of a series, however, then Wade doesn't need to be defeated, and we have more room for blood-letting.

Any restrictions regarding purples, pvp IOs, catalysed/un-catalysed ATOs, etc?

Also, any rp/concept guidelines, like requiring or forbidding any particular travel powers?

I like DXP weekends, but can live without them.

Rikti Invasion Weekends, though... I have a lot of new chars who feel the need to beat up massive quantities of Rikti.

Not sure if I'm reading the OP right, but to clarify: You get Reward Tokens for buying Paragon Points, not for buying stuff *with* Paragon Points.

The impression I've gotten is that removing Statesman isn't going to be the only significant change to the world, we just haven't had the reveal on the other stuff yet. They want to roll out all of the story-related changes at once, I suspect primarily for version control and reduction of maintenance downtime.

Are the Helenic Sandals available thru any method other than Spring Fling, either currently or something coming in the future?

C actually reminds me a lot of the Frankenrifle we have now for AR. Speaking of which - any chance that could get ported to the Beam Rifle options?

Can we get a confirmation whether these will have in-flight particle effects (like the Rocket Boots)? And if so, what are the emanation points on A; the wings, the central tubes, or both?
