Discussion: Issue 22: Death Incarnate - March 20, 2012 [Live] Patch Notes
Enhancement converters are only purchasable via reward merits on live.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.

@Roderick
I was hoping to see staves before beast mastery u_u, but Halle-friggin-lu Now my Dark troller can get better damage with a more cooperative Umbra beast. *brings scooby snacks for pup*
this patch be looking good, and i did notice the part about steam integration before it was removed (glad its being worked on at least lol)
Awesome work Devs... I too was looking for staves before Beast Mastery... if I have enough points I'll play with BM for the time being. I don't have an actual character concept in mind as I do for Staves, but I can make one up.
My 50s: Zenshin (stkr), TrueBluePhoenix (dom), Zen'th (blstr), Foul-Play (blstr), Zojitzu (scrpr), ZyoXinZhou (scrpr), Protonic Avenger (def)

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Is the change to XP boosters that cause them to auto-activate on claiming new, or did I miss a patch note somewhere in the past couple weeks?

[*]Umbra Beast: This pet should now be more aggressive and will not wait until it or its owner is attacked. Additionally, the Umbra Beast's movement speed has been increased by a fair amount and it will fade out almost immediately after being defeated.

But, um... is that every time, or just the first time every day? And if it's just the first time, are we still looking at that ridiculous "how dare you repeat the repeatable mission" single-thread reward?
This is a great start. The next step, obviously, being to apply this same thinking to everything with a timed reward table -- SSAs, WSTs, etc, etc, etc....
FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

A very nice patch indeed. I was surprised to see Beast Mastery out before Staves but I'll be buying both so that's okay!
Thank you, thank you! Thank you! For the changes in the Pocket D clothing items. I couldn't sort out why that tank top wasn't available under jackets!
Also, thank you for fixing the Alice in Wonderland fall to 'Oh great! NOW what do I do?' mess. That tripped me up so many times, last week!
Great work, guys! Keep it up!
One very unpleasant surprise and undocumented change - the XP booster activates when you claim it. So you can't just claim it and hold it until you're ready (like I have done on every new character since Freedom launched), claiming it thinking you're under the old rules means the clock is running.
My arcs are constantly shifting, just search for GadgetDon for the latest.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
Every time I try to update now I end up having to re-install. I have sent petitions to support, but have not received any feedback on how to fix this problem. I can not even get to the CoH support page now. This is really annoying.

This bit I do agree with. Especially the SSA/WWD. It would be great if every contact in the WWD would also tell me which rewards I was currently eligible for, and why (i.e., do I need to confirm my alignment again? Or just wait another day?). Hopefully this is "common code" that once done could be added easily to any number of contacts.
The WST is normally well advertised. However it might be helpful for newbies if they could see the WST in-game. Maybe every TF/SF contact could have a dialog entry for "What is the Weekly Strike Target?" and an screen that shows:
"The Weekly Strike Target is a ST/TF where you get extra rewards for XP, Inf, and Merits. The current WST is <name> in <zone> from contact <contact>."
Don't forget that <zone> might be "any Super Group base with a Raid Teleporter" and <contact> might be said Raid Teleporter.
Normal TIP missions appear silently now. No "jingle" like with drops.
Taskmaster General and 2 Emps is nothing more than a bribery system set forth to encourage players to satisfy Positron's intrusively weird obsession with trying to get players to play all the content. Again, why should he care what we play as long as we are PAYING? I intend to ignore the TMG and just do what I want. Missing out on 2 Emps per week is hardly a death blow to character incarnate progression.
The 10 thread reward for the completing first repeatable mission each day is good but the other times run that day should have been raised to 5 threads from 1. They do some things that indicate they want players to do a greater variety of content but here is a case where they are discouraging it.
Other than those observations, the patch seems to correct a few annoying problems and is a worthwhile DL.
