Interesting...
Now you just have to wonder how long it's gonna be until someone does a Girls und Panzer (Tropes Page) Mod like that. Considering that WoT is referred early on in the Tropes Page's description. It's also a interesting show in it's own right.

Actually, IIRC, the Sorcery Pool was going to be the fist of Origin like Pools. It was gonna be released w/I24. It is a hybrid Pool set.
A listing of the set is available at Paragonwiki.

My GF, over the weekend, decided to purchase some Super Packs with some remaining points and didn't get them either. Yea, didn't think about mentioning to her about filling a petition, but do we even have reliable game support now?

Quote:David recently spotlighted some Lady Death Artwork he did on his main DA page. I have a feeling this was some commission work he did before the studio shutdown though.Im curious about the werabouts of David Nakayama "Noble Savage" and Cheryl "Dink"...

At least the Disney Parks are taking the purchasing in good light...
Darth Vader: What are you going to do next?
Vader and a couple of Stormtroopers spending the day at Disneyland.

Finally got around to watching the show (DVR'ed it...).
As a Pilot, it was OK. Gut feeling is that they were trying too hard in the dramedy tone. Interesting ideas, but it just felt a little off.
Liked Eddie Izzard as Grandpa. Serious enough, but with just a little Camp to keep things lite. I liked that.
I'm not sold on O'Connell as Herman. There's was something off about the Character as a whole.
Lily was OK, but like Herman, something just didn't feel right.
Eddie is a little harder to get a handle on. He seems aware of the Family History, but I think his development would of been covered in a full season.
Marilyn, though, actually scared me the most. Not because of appearance, but Characterization. It's like there's a true monster under her sweet, and at times Genre Savoy, demeanor. I might be a reading too much into it, but it wasn't that she put me off like Herman and Lily, but rather creeped me out a couple of times. Like she was actually enjoying moving into the new house and helping Eddie in understanding the 'Circle of Life'. And She's supposed to be the "Normal one"?
I can see why NBC didn't pull the trigger on a full season run. I think with some Characterization tweaks, it could be a interesting take on the Munster Mythos.

Myskats, a couple of weeks ago, Linked a sneek peek of the show here in CHVC. It is intended to be a dramedy, but I don't think NBC picked it up fully.
I'm not 100% sure it's gonna work and I can agree with her views on it. If you're expecting it to be like the source material, you might be disappointed.
I'm willing to watch it, but I just don't have a good feeling about it. I'll be surprised if I'm wrong, though.

I haven't yet, but from the latest message I got, I should be getting a call from their billing people 'soon'. Though if they still think I have Guild Wars issues, oh am I gonna be pissed...

Interesting...
So the gent who did a 80's/90's animated style Doctor Who is now doing a take on Star Wars. Hopefully Lucas won't sic that lawyers after him (yea, right...).

Quote:Hahaha from a person that has seen asian movies, games, and there "comic books/manga/manhwa" you sir reminded me of this ridiculous boob action. 0.50 secs for "Swords and Panties" ahem guns and boobs.

Japanese take it to another...level.Quote:Anime guys really need to buy themselves a blow-up doll. That's just stupidly embarrassing.
HOTD is a fanservice title (Zombies, T&A, and extreme Violence. Go figure...), not arguing that in the least. But Ironik's comment is just as vulgar and ignorant to those of us who enjoy that sub-class of Anime/Manga. I'll even admit that Madhouse kinda went overboard with the 'Matrix Boobs' sequence, and I enjoy that Title.
I also have a Staff Fighting HOTD expy that might want to chat w/you Ironik...
Now then...
I don't clearly recall the discussion of B&S on these Boards nearly Four years ago, but I managed to rip the teaser vid from the web site that was linked in the discussion thread at that time. As someone who tends to play Female Characters, I don't really care for the overall 'normal' Female character design (I give the little critter race a pass). I think it has to do with the overall body shape. It just 'feels wrong' to me.
I just seriously wonder WTF took them that much time to do. IIRC, B&S was supposed to be (Asian) launched back in 2010 and was just launched there back in mid-summer...
Honestly, I'm not very impressed at this point.

I've had Diablo 1 installed in my rig for a while now. Gotten back to playing that again. Might install the Hellfire expansion again for that one of these days too.

Starting to watch tonight's (09/08/12) Ep....
Oh lordy... The elder Weasley is Rory's Dad!
Gonna have to watch the ep later (DVRing it right now). This one looks to be fun.

If CoX was available as a stand-alone/multi-player support game, hell yes!!! If it allowed you to utilize I23/I24 player data, it would be even better.
Thank you for the time... -
One thing that seems to be forgotten with the COX chat channel...
Global channels like COX are cross-game as well. So those who play STO will also see chats in COX Channel that are more CO centric. I remembered this first hand earlier today.
Also as a FYI, there is a STO Fleet for those who are current/former City players as well. I believe it is called the Paragon Expeditionary Fleet.

It's cool that the CO community is trying to help.
The problem is, at least as far as I'm concerned, is more with PWE & Cryptic, to an extent. While I understand that there are separate development sides at Cryptic for CO & STO, my overall experiences w/STO since the F2P option allowed me to play STO again have not been pleasant.
I also got to try CO in the Open Beta. I wasn't impressed with the overall game play either. While the CC was a lot better that CoX, that alone wasn't enough of a saving grace, IMO.
My issues (and I would imagine a lot of others as well) rest solely on the development and management side and not the community.

Quote:According to the IMDB listing, the only thing Trek related he did was a VO in a cinimatic for Star Trek: Klingon Academy. You're right though, he would of made one heck of a Klingon.Did that man ever play a Klingon?
He would have made a wicked Klingon..
Either way, RIP Michael, I always enjoyed your acting.

3 & 1/2 hours before it airs on BBC America here in the US.
Can't wait for this season to begin. Should be an interesting ride for sure...

For right now...
I have STO installed, but I doubt I'll give PWE much of anything. I like the Core game play of STO, but everything else has been making me dislike the overall experience more and more.
Beyond that, I don't know. I'm still upset and angry over NCSoft's dickery here, that anything else is gonna be a while to take in.

Hold on now... WTF????
Does this mean City is shutting down???!!!!!
THank you for the time... -
I'm just wondering...
How the hell did it get out of the TARDIS and into the Pond's Bathroom?
And I don't think it was during ep #2...

Ok, the Good:

Director - Martin Campbell (Casino Royale)
Script-to-series Commitment
The Bad:
It's gonna be done by Syfy. Need I say more...

Quote:Oh you just had to get me thinking of this: Guardian PeebosDucks? No. Carp? Yes. You can now hit things with a giant carp.
Anyone who's a Fan of Fred Perry's Gold Digger get's the references. But damn... Having a Giant Carp as a TW weapon might actually be interesting...

I've noticed this too.
If it's a bug or not, I'm not sure. But what I do know is that if you scroll through a main part option listing and select the 'none' option, the colors reset to the 1/2, 1/9 colors. It's like the CC can't hold your color choices if there isn't a actual piece selected.
It's an annoying PITA, personally. If it is a bug, I hope it gets squashed soon.

And here I thought this was gonna be about wanting a new Craftable Temp Power for a Rocket Launcher...
Now that, and using the over-the-shoulder model that critters use in game, would be a nice thing to have. You know, something in the 10-15 charge range. Like a supped up [Hand Grenade].
Thank you for the time... -
I was also thinking of this list...
Most I knew, but a few shouldn't be on there and a few should be higher up on the list. Giving the Doctor the top spot is justified, IMHO.
I'm disappointed that Babylon 5 and Stargate SG-1 were not on that list. Hell, either of them over Lost would of been appropriate, but that just me...
