Rocket Launcher for Ranged archtypes
Congrats. The devs have already added a rocket launcher power to the game. They call it LRM Rocket and it's in the Munitions Mastery Epic Power Pool. It was added to the game when Issue 3 went live on Jan 2005, and the pool becomes available to Blasters at level 35.

And tho I know it'll never happen I'd personally like to see all those Epic/Ancillary power sets be available to all AT's. I honestly don't believe they would unbalance the game that much if at all, and it would help round out some character concepts.
And here I thought this was gonna be about wanting a new Craftable Temp Power for a Rocket Launcher...
Now that, and using the over-the-shoulder model that critters use in game, would be a nice thing to have. You know, something in the 10-15 charge range. Like a supped up [Hand Grenade].

Here's another issue though with a Rocket Launcher or demolitions blast set: how do you justify anything BUT AoE damage?
Having at least 3 Single target powers is kind of important.
(Oh! But if we made a demo-blast or rocketlauncher power set, maybe it's special gimmick could be boosting the 'blast radius'!)

Powersets are kind of an obstacle to munitions-based characters - you can have pistols, or you can have a rifle, but you can't have both, and you can't get (hand) grenades to go with it, etc. And a character that uses a rocket launcher *exclusively* would be a bit silly. Temporary powers are a way around this. A rocket launcher temporary power, with very limited charges, would let such a character whip out some heavy ordnance on occasion, without making it an "every fight" thing.
Here's another issue though with a Rocket Launcher or demolitions blast set: how do you justify anything BUT AoE damage?

Not sure if these actually exist, but what about a round that does it's damage with pure kinetic impact, rather than explosives... in effect an oversized beanbag round?
Lastly, how about an incendiary/acid/chemical round. Splash area big enough to cover the target, but not his friends. You could put any special effect in this power, explained by the type of chemical.
Don't get too bogged down in real-life, this is a video game/comic book.

For Single Target attacks I think it would be possible to come up with a few ideas like Armor Piercing Missile.
All I know is I got an image flash of the ROCK in my head with a deep voice belting "BFG" when I read the title.
I'm not going to suggest my own powers because it's not worth getting an arguement or whatever. but it would be a cool idea for a launcher of different rockets containing explosions, webs, acid. It sounds basically like a combination of all those gadget powers in a form of rockets but at least Rocket Launcher would make maniacs happy
