Refunds?
I haven't yet, but from the latest message I got, I should be getting a call from their billing people 'soon'. Though if they still think I have Guild Wars issues, oh am I gonna be pissed...
Thank you for the time...
I've been waiting for a call for 2 weeks now.

We will do our best to initiate automatic refunds Wednesday, September 26, 2012 for those customers who previously paid for either a recurring subscription or purchased Paragon Points using either credit cards or PayPal™ as set forth below:
|
Triumph: White Succubus: 50 Ill/Emp/PF Snow Globe: 50 Ice/FF/Ice Strobe: 50 PB Shi Otomi: 50 Ninja/Ninjistu/GW Stalker My other characters
According to greendot, the pre paid credit card company i used, it takes 3-5 days for the refund to show up. And a few people have already complained or disputed the charges that deal with NCsoft.
Snow, this is the internet. Do you really expect people to read the announcements before posting.
|
On the other hand I didn't get an email about a refund yet, and if I don't soon then I'm going to be extremely annoyed at NCsoft Support & Billing.

I don't know... You'd figure that sometime in the last two weeks (according the the original poster), that either NCsoft support or the poster would have spent the 2 minutes to find that.

People have already reported refunds from as little as <$1 to nearly a whole year's worth of sub.
Have you checked your spam folder? On my one account I get NCSoft emails all the time and another of my accounts it's hit or miss. Which is wierd because both accounts use the same email address.
|
Edit:
Checked the spam filters on the web versions of both email providers as well for any trace of spam. Nothing.
Edit 2:
The last web mailing I got from NCsoft for the Market was Aug 21st (Nature Affinity), the last email from NCsoft support (petition) was September 11th, the last 4 serial codes applied were on Aug 31st (a bunch of the costume codes).

Gmail comes up with "Hooray, no spam here!". Also I have 2 different email accounts as far as support goes and neither have had anything sent to them.

And regardless of the emails everyone should also remember the method of payment they used with NCSoft because M_G brings up a good point to keep in mind if they used a credit card of some type.
Well, I just checked my credit card balance, and I got just got my refund (no emails though).
I renewed my account December 7, 2011 under the 12+2 plan, so my account would have expired in February 2013. I got approximately 5 months at $10.99 back.

Still no refund here, either. I'm going to give it a couple of days to show up, and then complain. I'm hoping it's just the normal delay with a credit card return and I won't be forced to file a ticket.
I mean yes, I did remove the card from the billing information already (back in April when I realized it auto-renewed before I thought it would) but they should be able to find the transaction information and reverse it - we had to do that at a place I worked before.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

They did say to allow 7-10 days for it to hit your account. (I've not gotten anything back yet, either.) :/

Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges

I think so.
September (My billing day is the 7th)
October
November
December (Bonus month starting Dec 7th)
January (Bonus month #2 starting Jan 7th)
They gave me 5 months at a yearly rate ($10.99), so it was approximately right. It might be off a tiny bit bit off, but due to exchange, etc. it was a bit lower than 1/3 of what I paid (in Canadian funds) for 5/14 months service remaining. Probably a couple dollars off, but the exchange rate is different too.
It is close enough that I'm not going to complain.

While people using Paypal and other forms are seeing refunds immediately. |

Huh.
Mine posted this morning. $131.31 out of $143.40 for a 14 month subscription. So they charged me for 1.18 months or about 35-36 days. Renewal date was 7/26 and that's 36 days before the announcement so it looks good.

Got mine. $65.12 on one account and $59.96 on the other. That's only $6 off from what I estimated without looking up the exact dates. Good enough for me.
So...... with a little 'mental accounting', that means I have about $125 lying around to spend on games.

Has anyone gotten their refund from NCSoft, or are you getting the run-around like me?
