As I mentioned to Samuraiko, I'll be there if they have to ship my dead bloated carcass to it.
Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.
When are you guys coming back to NYC?

Kudos for giving more than three weeks notice this time, that's fantastic. Sadly, I don't think I will make it even with three months notice...it's right after my mother will come to visit for a week, which is expensive enough as it is D: If only it had been another month out, I might have been able to swing it....oh well, maybe next year. I'll see ya'll at PAX!

Since most people aren't in San Fran, and you love VIP Costume Contests.......
Hold a VIP Costume Contest, Winner gets round trip tickets for 2 to San Fran with hotel for 2 nights for the event.....
Any chance you guys can start planning something similar for this in Atlanta sometime in the future? Like maybe a smaller one around the time of DragonCon? Let some of the east US players that can't afford to get out to that side of the country participate in something like this.
Also, can you try and get UStream or YouTube videos online for ALL of the panels this time? Those are great for those who can't come and participate, but the panels that I really wanted to see weren't broadcast. Even plain recordings on YouTube to watch later would be great if you can't get live streams of multiple things going at once.
Question with this. You guys are still coming to PAX East, right? And doing announcements and everything there, and not just holding off until late April to show off stuff? One of the highlights last year of my PAX East experience was the CoH panel and the Meet & Greet. Also, I've already bought the tickets for PAX East.

No love for "fly over" land here. Please remember us in the middle of the US...
For those that were at last year... which airport is the closest to this? Oakland or San Fran? (Hope theres a shuttle to this....)

Z, Any plans for Paragon Studios to attend PAXEast 2012?
Want to get in our reservations, but only if CoH/Paragon Studios is showing.
Note that Z did mention that the "Spring" was there because current plans are to have another Fall summit.

Also, regarding PAX East - At this time we aren't planning on having an official presence at PAX East. It may change, however no current plans.

Just out of curiosity, what percentage of the game's player base lives within say... a three hour drive of wherever this is being held?
I mean I understand that it's convenient and inexpensive for Paragon Studios to hold this in their backyard, and when it was just a glorified meet and greet, I didn't have an issue with that. But now it's a "Players Summit" where players are giving real input on the future of the game, and it's being limited to those who can drive to, or afford to fly to it. That's not right.
If you held one in the fall in CA and one in the spring on the east coast, the midwest, the south, or even in Europe, fine because then you'd be including more than just the same people all the time, but now it sounds like you won't even be coming to the east coast this spring. Which means that if you come to NYCC this fall, CA will have had three player summits to our one meet and greet in a year and a half.

Let me know when you're hosting one in rural Ohio.

Planning is underway for the next Freedom Player Summit, and we're ready to share the date with everyone! Mark your calenders for Saturday, April 28th 2012. We'll be hosting the second ever Freedom Player Summit (I will not call it the Pummit) here in the San Francisco Bay Area that weekend, so start your planning now.
We'll be changing a few things up this next time around, including switching to a single panel track and increasing the amount of interactive panels. That means we'll see the return of the "Build a Costume Set Workshop" in addition to some new and exciting player participation panels. We're still working on the planning for the event, so more details will be revealed in the coming weeks including venue (most likely the same venue as the last FPS), group rates, ticket pricing, and panel schedule!
We can't think of a better way to celebrate the 8th anniversary of City of Heroes than by spending the weekend with our Community. We look forward to seeing you all there!
