Good list. I am glad that the rewards for DA content uses a SSA format and not a tip/hero merit format.

Some of the new arcs have missions where they suggest you might want to bring help - and the mobs are pretty rough, especially with their debuffs - so they appear to be going with the "soloable for some, not all" idea behind things like the Mender Ramiel arc.

Oh my.

Edit: Read rest of thread before replying. Meh meh meh.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

This is the first issue in ages that interests me, and oh my, there's a lot of deliciousness here. Missions in which I can bust Fifth Column heads? Yes, a million times yes. Solo/small team Incarnate stuff? Huzzah! At last! And Beast Mastery is in the pipeline? All this on top of Staff Fighting and those lovely upcoming costume sets.

Darn you, CoH, you are making me love you again.

Because if we did Bears, then people would want to ride them, and I'm sorry, but the world is not ready for the Bear Cavalry.

So now we officially have Eldrich Abominations in game.

Well, why not? We can all do with a bit more Cthulhu.

So what your saying then is Bear travel power issue 23ish.

When I first saw that Beast Master screenshot, I thought it was just an elaborate photoshop job. Now that I know it isn't, I think I'm more excited about that set than anything else, even though I know it won't launch right away.

Between the vanity pet, the transformation travel power, the tendrilly Dark Wolf, and now an entire animal summoning set, they're really putting that four-legged rig to good use.

Also, I like the new Big Bug enemies. I'm surprised it's taken them this long to re-use the Arachnos Tarantula rig (if that is indeed what it is) for a new insectoid monster.

There go my plans for remaking Davy Crockett in the game. I was all set to kill me a bear when I was level three.

Well let's be honest here. Every single game ever could be improved with a subtle application of eyeballs and jibbers. It's the next big revolution in gaming. In the seventh console generation, it was DLC, in the sixth, it was online play, in the eighth, it will be eyeballs and jibbers.

Ugh. I really can't believe we get more Nazis. Such a lame, tired group and is somewhat offensive to many.

ANyway, other than those new arcs, I am liking the issue. It seems like a solid issue. It seems like Praetoria may not be involved in this issue so another big win. This might come close to i12 (best issue IMO) but we will have to wait and see! I might actually log in for the first time in almost a month....if i22 comes out soon enough I may even continue my sub!

Who's been offended by the 5th Column?

I believe the mechanism required for this is already available. I had a teleporter to Galaxy City before all the changes, and after the changes, that teleporter changed to "Galaxy City (Echo)." I checked it out, and it's definitely Galaxy City before it was "attacked," so I firmly believe this is something that will happen.

Played Call of Cthulhu in my PnP days, would love it if some inspiration slipped in. Did you ever see movie, The Mist?

Looks good. I don't know why Diabolique's new costume has been getting such hate, though. I like it, especially the fiery horn-hat. I myself created a demon summoner a while ago that was going for a similar Evil-Lyn sort of look that Diabolique seems to be sporting now. It'd be cool to have some of those costume pieces, especially the hat.

Those Tyranid/Zerg things also look interesting.

Again, I support the bear for the 3rd tier beast mastery pet.

I was, once. They said mean things about me and I got offended. Then I punched them in the face and set them on fire and did a bunch of other hurty stuff to them, and it made me feel better. So much better, that I decided to do it again at the first available opportunity.

Beating up 5th and Rikti never gets old.

Did I miss something, or did I just pay more attention than most?

Why's everyone assuming the lady who'd fit on a Heavy Metal cover is Diabolique? More likely she's an incarnation of Mot. I think that's more likely than Diabolique suddenly becoming twice as tall, losing her translucensy and most of her clothing JUST so she can take control of Mot's new sand-box.

As for i22, I'm downloading the beta now so I can play a role in helping to make sure the new material's not BoA*. Looking forward to it, too. Particularly the Stalker and Gravity changes, but also the new Dark Powersets.

Attacking the Darkness,
~Raven

*Bugged on Arrival, like recent material's been noticeably moreso in recent months, hence why I'm going to spend all weekend downloading it - likely, since my connection's slooooow - just so I can at least say I helped on this one.

Plus, new Dark Powersets.

YAR.

Even against certain death, it matters not how or if we fight, only that we do.
