Well, crap.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

It's good to get it out to the freebies too - the Beta boards are VIP only

Well, I think that this set means that hawk and lion vanity pets will also be made available at some point

EDIT: Also, lion pets = cat pets eventually ;-)

Which leads to the question I asked on Beta, before the servers rudely kicked me out (Jumped up little punks. Got a few gig worth of programming and think they're Skynet or something. Amateurs...)

Why Lions? Or, rather, why Summon Wolves, then Lions, then....another Wolf? Why not, I dunno, a Bear? That seems the logical choice. Or even making it a choice, i.e. making wolves, lions and other clawed, bitey quadrupeds the tier 1, then something else as choices for the tier 2 and then tier 3?

Obviously it's still early days. But more variety might work better. And, bear in mind (no, no, shut up, shup UP!) , this is coming from someone who loves wolves.

Obviously, this set should summon lions, tigers and bears.

Advanced telepads is nice, hoping that it's a stepping stone to having all beacons available for bases or just for more zones in general like the Shadow Shards and Cimerora. I also hope that the cost difference isn't as extreme as the regular and advanced control items.

Grav control improvements: my grav/psi dom now might actually have decent output solo instead of fighting at -1 all the time.

Stalker improvement: more HP and a better way to build AS. I like. No more hit and run unless you want to.

LFG: step in the right direction but still needs work if the time is not representative of realistic waiting time instead of showing an average. Instance launching good but again no good if it means we have to be in the same zone to launch a new trial. I hope the multi-zone issue is also resolved. I'll also like to be able to know if the instance launching means we'll be dropped back inside the instance or at the mission entrance otherwise there might be a few declines if someone joins up and then gets to a boss when the launch keys show up.

Olympian, very nice. Also nice that all the darkness sets are all free to VIP.

You can. The Galaxy City beacon goes to the echo of Galaxy now and they have no reason not to make Dark Astoria work the same way.
Plus, as a cute trick you can use the base teleporter to go to the Galaxy Echo, then take the Echo tram to Ouros; if you don't have the Ouros portal you can get it then by grabbing the explore badge.

By the way, the current rewards for the DA arcs give you a table to pick from at the end of each arc, with an option to choose 10 threads, or a random component roll, as well as super inspirations and reward merits.

EDIT:

The full reward table at the end of each arc is:

Quote:
Incarnate Components

By choosing this reward, you will receive one of four choice tables, each containing Incarnate Salvage. There is a chance to receive the Common, Uncommon, Rare or Very Rare Salvage table.
Quote:
Incarnate Merits

By choosing this reward, you receive one Incarnate Merit, which can be redeemed at vendors in Ouroboros or used to craft Incarnate components. There is a chance to receive two Astral Merits or one Empyrean Merit.
Quote:
Incarnate Threads

By choosing this reward, you receive ten Incarnate Threads.
Quote:
4x Reward Merits

By choosing this reward, you will receive four times the standard number of Merit Rewards for this arc.
Quote:
Super Inspirations

By choosing this reward, you receive two random Super Inspirations.

Know what little thing I love about this issue? KNIVES OF ARTEMIS GET THEIR BUTTS KICKED. I have always hated them... and their new incarnation as the Knives of Vengeance aren't anywhere near as annoying... no ignoring superior invis... no more stacks of caltrops...

Side note, while I'm not a fan of the new DA, I will say that at first I thought I was looking at concept art or even screenshots from a completely different game. Graphically, the new DA looks awesome (judging by the screens, of course).

Woah, TMI man, TMI....

But from what GG posted about the end of story arc bonuses; heck...that may be very nice and not as slow as I thought it'd be...

Wonder how many missions/arcs there are in DA. 30 mins (to stealth/speed through a story arc) for a chance at a very rare component? Fine by me
