Issue 22 Preview is up!
Yeah, Dr. Aeon (the guy writing these arcs), has been really good about making it so that while both Heroes and Villains end up saving the world, the heroes end up getting forced to do it through morally ambiguous means. There's been a few times already where I've kind of squirmed in my chair at the stuff I had to do as a hero, while I know damn well my villains would have no such qualms.
I am just glad that, once Darkness Control is out, I am going to be seeing a lot more trollers and doms. It gets a little old when I make a trial team and 10 brutes show up, 8 of them with Titan Weapons.
Things all in all look good, though. Definitely looking forward to... everything in this next update.

Yeah, my first reaction to hearing it's a co-op zone was to complain about this very thing, but they do have separate contacts I think for the entire story arc. I believe the only thing left that's problematic from a storyline perspective is that heroes and villains can't attack each other, but given that this would entail PvP, have no problem with it.
Given that heroes and villains each have their own contacts and story arcs in DA, it's not exactly a co-op zone so much as a single zone where all the action is.

However... Would it have been that much of a problem if heroes and villains got different instances of the same zone like they do with Ouroboros?

As long as 'saving the world' means 'enacting a ritual to drain Mot's power and take over the world' I have absolutely no problem with this.
I am sick and tired of saving the world. You'd think those heroes would get off the couch once in a while and actually do their heroing themselves.

First thing that springs to mind on seeing the new DA, Starcraft and the Zerg.
Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.

I really dislike that about ouroborous. Would've made a lot more sense to just have one shared zone, (I'm sure the Menders have enough power and tech to enforce some sort of no-fire zone.)

You know what... I really wish we had a Mastermind set with pets that looked like that. Something completely out there. Demons are demons, robots are robots, etc....
But giant killer undead looking magical bug monsters? How I wish I could be a Mastermind that summoned those.
