Three Stooges Trailer

I think this will be the worst movie ever made in the history of movies...think 'Plan 9 from Outer Space' would be better. Don't get me wrong I love the Stooges, Curly's always been my favorite, but this looks awful. Just another bad comedy movie.

I disagree. This didn't look bad at all to me. It looked like basic Stooge fun. Nothing amazing but not horrible at all...

Specially not when you compare it to some other remakes of recent years.

This is a lot better than I expected it to be.

I actually laughed at some bits. It felt three stoogery.

I have to admit I giggled at some parts, though I still wish The Stooges had been left alone by Hollywood's lack of imagination.

I'd watch it.

Zomg, that was PERFECT!

Voices, look, mannerisms, slapstick- all DEAD ON!

The only thing that struck me as off at all was the bikini nun, but the original Stooges had a heaping of good lookin' dames in several of their shorts, serving the same purpose for 1940s sensibilities.

Ye gods, its worth it for the Snooki eye-poke alone!

When can I pre-order tickets?

Statesmonkey Sez: Lighten up! It's a game, for Lincoln's sake!
Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.

Too early to judge, but the trailer makes the movie look better than I was expecting, at least. If they can keep the slapstick feeling more natural than forced, it may turn out pretty good.

I have to say, Will Sasso makes a very good Curly.

But then there's Snooki, so this movie can go ahead and burn in the unending and eternal pits of every single hell.

Three Stooges aren't my favourite to be honest (I'm a Marx Brothers kinda guy), but the guys they have playing the Stooges look and act dead on as far as I can tell.

Maybe this movie will end up being one of those which are "so bad they're good" cult classics.
That's probably its only hope at this point.

It actually looks like it might be decent. Definitely a DVD rental though because I have yet to see a good remake or re-imagining or whatever they call these things.

The first question you should ask of every remake/reboot/revival is: do we need it?

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.

And the studios will always answer by saying: Yes, it could make us some money!

Always remember, we were Heroes.

That did not look nearly as bad as the OP said, nor nearly as bad as I expected. It does look like they have the Stooges down pretty well, and the quality of slapstick looks pretty decent (especially compared to how poor it is in many recent movies).

Too many alts to list.

It's better than I expected but it was only a trailer.

The "story" part of the movie looks awful. But when they finally got to the more typical slapstick, I admit it made me laugh more than once. And Will Sasso makes a very convincing Curly.

Hmmm...I'm torn!

The three of them as babies being thrown out of the car, and having their hair styles seems stupid (and not in a good way).

But them older and doing the slapstick looks like classic Stooges!

From the rumors of the script I'm not to sure, but again, going to the slapstick it looks classic Stooges!

I'm torn!

From a slapstick standpoint it seems they definitely watched the Stooge shorts and practiced them well, including the infamous eyepoke....however when the Stooges in the 50's with Curly Joe began touring and performing on stage and making their movies, they decided the eye-poke should be retired since TV reruns of their shorts were exposing a new generation to their violence and they felt that the slapstick should be toned down and the eyepoke retired.

Granted the eye-poke is classic Stooge, but most that try to imitate it don't realize that the target of the eye poke is getting hit in the eyebrow area and not directly in the eyes.

Overall, the three of them in makeup do resemble the Stooges in appearance and they seem to have well rehearsed how to imitate the Stooges, but as a Stooge fan and historian....no. Just no. I might rent this via Netflix just out of morbid curiosity but I expect nothing good of this and it will likely shame the memory of the Stooges.

Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan didn't get that memo

Wait, most of you guys are cool with this? You're on the internet! You're supposed to be decrying everything as literally the end of human civilization and somehow end up tying it to either George Lucas or Michael Bay!

In all seriousness though, looks dumb but fun, exactly what classic stooges was too.

This prequel reveals that to be a Stooge, you must have a high enough concentration of Moe-dichlorians in your cells. Then you explode.
