Well, hello invention sets.

This is a MUCH better way to entice me to blow a bunch of money on the Market than those stupid super packs.

Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.

The prices for the sale look pretty good and I will be picking up a couple of things.

The only thing missing that I was hoping for was a sale on buying Paragon Points as well, that also would have been a must buy for me.

The IO sets are actually tempting at 400; the regular prices are too rich for my blood for a single character item.

Another week, another 'meh' from me. Glad to see others will get use out of the Black Friday sale, though.

I'm definately interested in the martial arts super pack and will most likely pick it up. I've held off on buying costume sets in the hopes that something like this would come out. It was something I wasn't able to purchase under the old system do to not having a credit card, but with my monthly stipend I'll definately be picking it up.

Xp boosters very cool item.. may pick one up for my blaster.
I think I'll set aside 200 points to consumables. Get an xp booster, a windfall, and an couple of duel insp.

Huh. A ShopIO version of Numina's...

I do like that set, and use it fairly often on my characters that need that sort of thing, so... Yeah. You may just have gotten me with that one.

Now, if only you'd added Character Slots to that sale list... With all the new, spiffy power sets in the pipe I'll be needing a few of those.

Hmm...Really useful set IO's on "sale". Does that mean that those prices in white will be the prices for them "after" Black Friday and they will be a "permanent" market item like Crushing Impacts for instance? Are they account bound and scale as well?

If so this is indeed an interesting development. I wonder how this will impact the prices of the uniques within the Numina's and LOTG sets in particular.

I was never even tempted to buy inspirations before but now I can definitely see buying them on impulse... like suddenly being "the" tank on a Statesman.

I was tempted to buy some IO sets but not at the price they were. These are much better.

I love seeing the super boosters back on sale in their old form. I already own them all but it's a good precedent.

Question can the refer a friend work with the 1 dollar vip sale?

I could make a bunch of accounts at 1 dollar each and make 500 points per... That would be like 80 percent off points

Um...those IO sets ...lotg, numina's convalescence - are those account wide? or one to a character? And are they recipes or crafted IOs?


That being said, I'm bittersweet about this. I'm glad they are now "affordable", but I am also thinking about how much work I had to do to get my own sets of these via hero merits. Now, you guys are just making anyone with more dollars than sense able to pick these up without earning them. When I look at a characters power info and I see bonus sets, I feel a lot more comfortable teaming with them, because I know they've at least spent some time learning how their toon works best and have put the time in on one character or another to get those enhancement IOs. Now, a guy who just bought the game today can buy and slot that stuff without even knowing what they have. I'm sure it's just me, but that doesn't sit right.

How many people will buy these with points and then sell them on the market?

I think if you buy these on the market, they should be character specific and unsellable - somehow differentiated from the ones everyone else has traded in countless hero merits for.

But, that's just me.

Overall pretty happy. I will be buying some XP boosters and will likely pick up some dual inspirations if only to help keep the price low hopefully.

Did they happen to state if the IO sets will have the individual IO's on sale too, or do you only get the deal if you get the whole set? There are individual IOs from the sets that I'd defiantly buy, but I'm not sure that I'll get the whole set just to end up not using half of them.

On a side note, I was hoping to see storage increases go on sale, especially the enhancement storage. The dog would have been nice to see on sale too, I really want it, but the cost feels a bit high.

Are Kinetic Combat or Luck of the Gambler even in the market normally?

All I see in those level bands are Smashing Haymaker and Red Fortune. If they aren't, then it's kind of silly to say they have a "Regular Price". If they are, then this just reinforces my opinion that the market is a disorganized mess.

No rename tokens? Bah.

I'll probably buy the 0.99$ VIP pack for a second account, but that's probably it.

Nothing for me except the Pilgrim hat.

Is Cyber Monday being lumped in with these deals as well?

I was a little hazy if it was mentioned that there would be both Black Friday AND Cyber Monday sales or if they were one in the same.

Either way, fingers crossed for a Cyber Monday sale on costume slots.
