Discussion: The Special Black Friday Sale has been extended!

So tell me if I have this straight..

Start a Free Account.. upgrade it to VIP for a buck..
Then its a VIP account and when I dont pick up the subscription it becomes a Premium Account ??

Is this correct,, because if it is, Im definitely getting a second account finally..

Pricing feedback:
First off, I think you've hit the right price on some things, and maybe have over-shot on a couple things. However, it is a sale. I'll refer to the USD prices for the rest of the post.

This is a great lost-leader. It gets the free to play crowd the all-important taste to want to subscribe. It kills the argument that it costs too much to be able to send tells. However, I can say that you might want to keep the regular price. It isn't that much to convert the F2P demo to a full 30 day demo.

You might want to consider a 15-day VIP starter kit for $2.50 though.

I wish I had the disposable income to use these to outfit my characters, but I don't. I'll have to live with either lower value IO versions or having them "turn off" if I exemplar more than 3 levels below the IOs. This puts me in a worse position than someone with a lot of disposable income. This lessens the value that I feel that I'm getting from being a VIP.

Bravo! This is a good sale item. After the sale, it should remain on the market for 800 points ($10). The other Booster packs (Technology, Magic, Mutant, Science) should also come back intact at 800 points as well.

Excellent to see the packs making a return I was afraid I missed the chance to get the full Mutant pack after Freedom launched, but it looks like that might be possible again soon(tm)!

I may consider some of the consumables over the weekend. I assume the charges just sit in your inbox indefinitely until claimed, like the Paragon Reward mails, so there's no time limit on using them up.

Also looking forward to potential Cyber Monday offers, possibly a discount on enhancement/costume slots, hmmm?

I about PANCAKED my pants when I saw I could get LoTGs from the market, finally. But then: disappointment when I realized the sale isn't live yet

I Just hope they get the rewarding of points/rewards/transfer fixed BEFORE black Friday. Cause you know someone out there is short a few points and will miss something on sale.

(If everything was 50% off for the day that way everyone could get exactly what they wanted. Since it is all digital any way. Not like they are going to run out of stock.)

I know I'll be buying some of the Numina and LOTG sets for an alt of mine, who is almost 50 ATM. It should save him some trouble when it comes to grinding astral merits
And with the low prices on consumables, I might grab a few. If the price change becomes permanent, even better.

I cannot seem to find the enhancements. They are not in the enhancement section, and I do not have a Paragon Picks>Black Friday option.

It is not in the Paragon Picks>Sales either.

In fact, I can't find ANYTHING from today's specials except the hat. Does this mean nothing is available until Friday?

What about the Paragon Points, Tokens and Transfers SO MANY people havent gotten yet.. I dont even know I have gotten my allotment for my subscription yet..


Now you are putting stuff on sale that people should be able to buy or buy cheaper and they cannot because they have been screwed on the points.

This needs to be addressed immediately.

Please please pretty please can you also put character slots and costume slots on sale too?

Not a bad sale. Kind of a shame they didn't discount some of the other items, like the new dog.

Lastly, while I like the reduced prices, I really disagree with the 113 point sales. NOTHING else in the market has a price ending in any other number but 0 or 5, everything should be divisible by 5. Otherwise you're just setting it up to let people spend points and then have very odd numbers of points they'll never be able to spend. Don't do that. Even if it's just the 'equivalent' of a few pennies, it's still making it so we have points we cannot spend. make it 110 or 115 because at least at that price it's possible to get some other combination of purchases so if you spent everything you can 0 out your account. This is a cheap marketing trick
