well i figure we would be on issue 30+ as they could afford to get stuff done faster,we would have ultra mode 2, a full preatoria, fixed bases and base raids. PVP that worked great,just to name a few

in a coffee chat there was hinted some thing new was going to be added for the halloween event? as it will not be done now what was it?

yes pinnacle has been my home server for over 8 years, met a LOT of nice people ,ticked off a few(i am sorry) had a lot of fun, I am a 55 year old computer geek,right now unemployed pc repair tech, and used this game to unwind, I moved a few toons to freedom, to help raise the avg IQ of the server, and to do some farming. but still i monitored and joined it on a lot of teams on pinnacle.
i tend to use the name madhobbit for a global ,and if you see it you might ask if it is I.

I have a toon or two on SWTOR which i will be finishing to lvl 50 after the shutdown.

I was given a sg/base by a player who was leaving the server, right now it is my "private" lair for 1 char. would like to see some way to rename the SG without recreating .

well as to the OF sets,there were 3 movies in the summer event , we were told that the third was for future expansion, great, now with the event in Oct, I could see a "spooky" movie going into the third or getting the first two changed, and that they could give the OF set out as a reward. or the choice could be given at the end of the haunted house mission. sorry to be off subject.

Was Just on a raid on freedom. one of the league players said he was not getting VM. He had the welcome to vanguard badge. Do free players NOT get VM from mobs in the raid?

just watched starship troopers invasion. The CGI looked great,I know the Movie rights have been sold for the game, I just wonder if CGI movie would be better that Live action. I remember when the Potter movie came out and the Dementor spell was a shield and not the Stag.They had a lot of upset fans, could they do things like Rikti and such justice live action.

well some of the players are playing the market more than the game. and will drive up the price of items for profit. i saw brass going for 100k and when you have say 500 if a item with 2000 bidding,getting the items is some times hard.

yes AE does not run out.and i have the problem of having to run some of the ae mission to get enough tickets to purchase. I would have to either solo the ae or find some free farm. and i prefer the "live" content.

as the same salvage as a lvl 10 IO will also make a lvl 25 IO , it would be nice to "upgrade" to the higher one. of course I would still have to purchase the recipe .or get it as a drop or have it memorized on my crafter toon.

knowing which mobs would be most likely to drop a certain type of salvage is possible,but the RNG can sometimes work againest you.

and as some of you may know during/after a 2xp weekend or when a new powerset is released the market really goes wild.

one of the reasons we can now buy recipes either with alignment merits or astrial or emerits is I and other people complained /requested of another way to get recipes as certain sets you would have 0 on market and maybe 300 bidding and some of the bidders would bid like 500 mill for a recipe(not saying anything is wrong with that but not all of us have access to 2-3 billion like some of the farmers)

i was just suggesting another way of getting salvage.

well i have been crafting a lot lately and some items were unavail or crazy high prices,even using ae tickets items were unavail for awhile.

seems a fair trade.

how about the ability to unmake IOs ? make them back into the salvage that was used to create them, and lose the inf.it will let us recycle some of the salvage to make other or higher lvl IOs

i agree I have about 10 unused slots on my home server, as it has become a ghost town,I would like to be able to move the slots somewhere else, however as this game has become F2P. I see this not becoming a possibility,while it would be nice,they would not give up the chance to squeeze more money out of us.

well with the halloween event coming up ,and Posi in last weeks coffee talk said there would be something new this year. my bet is a horror movie event in the theater, The devs said that the third theater was for future expansion.

well I was on 3 events,and i saw good and bad. what I would like to suggest to use this as a teaching moment. you have found out that events like this are too much for a manual control and some type of automated utilities are needed . I realize you are hard at work for both I24 and I25,and any new events for the next few months.

But some kind of automated tools to make this easier,while time consuming in the beginning. would pay for itself in future events. Going back into the early days,the devs of Unreal spent Months on building utilities before they started writing the Unreal engines(this all from a article they wrote) I understand that part of the workload is getting ready for the next issue publish, cleaning up code and documentation ,as this game has had so many different programmers . but if all the Devs are scrambling for the next Issue/deadline problems that happened in the Mako event will continue.

I have a question suppose in the future,cross server teaming is made possible,and a "mako like" happens? will there be like talos 1-40 on the server? how will that be handled?



Each issue while improving the game,is like adding a ball to someone who is juggling , each one makes it more difficult.

hey GG where can I get a pair of Rose Colored glasses like yours? My current glasses only let me see things as they are warts and all.

i don't know if Mako ever showed up in the battles.ok lvl 54 showing up if i was not a incarnate or 50 i would be lvl 49 so the mobs are +5.

kind of a hard fight for most toons. and while on a populated having large teams will not be hard, but low pop will be hard, had a few people log in about 30 mins after the start. a little upset that they "missed" stuff.

one of the problems with having a 1 day event is the first servers the players have no clear
idea what is going on, by the end of the week, after reading the forums and "word of mouth" a better idea is known by all. even if the event was tested on test server, a more players would be better informed. Yes i know that ruins the surprise, but which is better a "surprise" with a bunch of upset players or a smooth running event.?

i agree, on exalted heard a lot of broadcasting of "boring" then one of the devs piped in that if we wanted they could not do anymore villian vs player events. seems a bit of intimidation going on from the Devs. and a little thin skinned. after about 1 hour we went to PD to wait for the spoonful of sugar making the medicine go down.
