!!Halloween Pack Costume Items!!

Thanks, Electric-Knight! I had just logged out for bed time when I saw your thread. Logged back in IMMEDIATELY and bought the bundle...and then spent two hours in Icon. Good thing I'm scheduled to go into work late tomorrow.

Worth every Paragon Point. This is an AWESOME set.

P.S. I went against the grain with the Medusa head, pairing it with the organic face (a smooth female face with luminescent eyes) and phoenix mask, wearing dark, form-fitting Valkyrie armor, for a seductive-yet-terrifying creature.

Is this an actusl transparent hjar woth a brain floating in it? Anyone hot pics? How much is the pack? Can I buy the brain in a jar piece separately?

Oddly enough, I had just made my second fish-man based character a few weeks ago. Probably not going to get the gloves and boots though; They don't look organic enough to me.

Isn't the brain in the jar with googly eyes just copy-pasted from the Clock-Work King? I would not forget those googly eyes.

;_; why do they keep trying to use the normal map tech on the faces, sure its halloween and stuff and they certainly do look scary..ish but it just looks bad. Please devs stick to what you're good at!

Heres my reasons why!

NUMBER ONE! 99% of the costumes pieces lack that shader tech and it makes anything with it stand out in a bad way. (and please don't retroactively add it..)

Number two! Either its something about how the game renders or who knows but the normal maps are way too harsh, the way the game shades does not compliment it very well at all. Alot of areas on the textures either end up too dark or bright and end up with really muddy look. Subtle-ness is awesome! So far the faces with it (steam punk/halloween pack) are overdoing it, I don't think anyone would be against toneing it down.

Number Three! Refer to number one.

I know you guys are super excited about having the option to make use of the new technology made available but .... A little goes a LONG way.

I meant to wake up at 2:00 AM to see what goodies were being released today, but, bed was just too comfortable. When I finally did manage to haul myself out of bed, log into the forums, and see the contents of the Halloween pack I stared goggle eyed, then rushed int the Paragon Market and bought the pack sight unseen except for the pics I saw on the forums

Then I went to auras, and saw the bats. Light and Heavy.

I also love the Medusa hair. Color it one color and it looks like messy dreadlocks

Interesting idea, not sure if I like limited time frame availability though.

The only thing I wish for Think Tank is to be able to use the various existing beards and mustaches stuck to the outside of the tank.

This too, the jar is excellent. I'd quite like some silly things in it too, like goldfish. But animating that would be rather tricky.

This too. Is there any reason boys can't have snakes for hair too. Yes I know Medusa was a lady-type, but more options is always good.

Overall though this pack is snazzy (once the bugs have been dealt with) so kudos to whomever dreamed these up.

Mind you in the next week I forsee a lot of Paternity Tests coming up for the Clockwork King as a swarm of illegimate clockwork princes turn up to make stake on his kingdom.

See, when I talk about sets worth their money, THIS is what I mean. Sure, the Vampire faces are horrible and the fish man head is goofy, but the "think tank" alone is worth the price of admission, and the Vampire Collar is just priceless. It's a bit too high to use without some kind of shoulder support to balance it, but DAMN if I won't be using it! Oh, sure, it clips with most hair styles, but I'm fully capable of picking a hairstyle that it doesn't clip with, so it's still good. I just want to see the ascot fixed, as it's bugged right now.

So, yeah... I'm happy with this. I couldn't be happier. I'll buy this set as soon as I'm done making this post, in fact.

If I can ******* find it! Why are new costume sets never listed under, you know, "NEW" in the Paragon Market? Why do I have to go fish for them manually?

Oh, this is rich. So the Halloween costume pack is NOT in the "Featured" items, it's not in the "New" items, and if I go looking for costume bundles, it's the last item on the last page. Um... Why? Do you NOT want me to buy the costume set?

I have a question: Is it possible to set the Bats aura to Combat Only?

I have another question: Is it possible to make it so we can use the original heads (bald) inside the Think Tank? They'd fit just fine.
