One of my favorite things to do was get a team of 8 set to invincible, find a cluster of close doors, and have everyone spam-click at once.

Last year though, the new difficulty settings didn't seem to be reliably affecting Halloween spawns, so it wasn't quite the same.

When I saw '5 tricks', all I could think of was a bunch of werewolves instantly spawning around you and all throwing rocks at your head :P

Uh.. did I say there was a law? I simply said thanks and provided my feedback on an additional item.

No you didn't. I'm just indirectly pointing out that there will probably -always- be some things in this game that will be "limited" within the confines of the holiday event system. I guess it's worth trying to see if they'll make it so that there's NO reason to play the game during the events to get all the holiday specific rewards, but I wouldn't count on it.

'5 Tricks'... Pimpin'!

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

It depends on how it's implemented, as we've talked about before - by perhaps unlocking the ability to buy it from the store by doing the content at least once. Plus there are those who will not want to buy something when they can get it for free.

ok, limited feedback on the fish bits. not bad, i do notice the "booted/gloved" nature of the hands and feet are a bit restrictive for concepts, maybe later on we can work with skin variations too. I realize this is strictly a halloween themed pack and not a full on aquatic pack, but i am happy with it, just little details would be nice to add in later costume piece updates, like an ear fin, really would love those. Didnt check the rest of the stuff, will later, but came for the fish stuff, and was reasonably happy with it, just, some bare options would be great too.

Sadly, I probably won't pick this pack up. Which makes me sort of weirdly anxious, as I've never before NOT bought a costume pack. But these pieces seem very limited for the most part, and the only ones I'm really interested in for their broad appeal (high collar, ascot, broach) seem bugged.

I think some of those bugs you mentioned are fixed on Test? If you like them, you should get them before they're gone! At least you'll be able to verify the fixes when the Halloween patch goes Live to make a reassessment then.

There's definitely some additional things that need adjustment (imo) but the blatant bugs are soon to be fixed.

Yeah, I'll probably pick up 3-4 pieces, but I just can't see picking up the entire pack when I know I have no character to go with them and likely never will.

Yep, but there's nothing wrong about that, haha. Don't feel anxious.

I started realizing that about some things that would (and then did) come out.
I used to be a bit of a completionist, but a few people have helped me to enjoy seeing the variety spread to the point that people will have things that others won't and that's actually a good thing (for variety's sake... not a have and have-not due to limitations thing).

Two quick points:

1) As far back as I recall there have been some release bugs associated with just about every costume pack this game has ever released. Not suggesting that's a "good" thing per se but the Devs have always been relatively good at getting a majority of those bugs fixed in short order so I wouldn't necessarily hold off a purchase for that account.

2) The entire "Monster Pack" only costs 400 points while buying the items individually adds up to roughly twice that amount. Basically if you ever plan to get more than like 1 or 2 items from this it's probably more worthwhile to just buy the pack outright.

Have fun either way.

They still haven't fixed the female beast head packs, and David's acknowledged they probably never will. That's really damaged my confidence in paying money for stuff I know is already bugged, you know?

I just wanted to add another positive note about the pack...
I've seen people asking (and responding) about whether the snake hair was animated and such and I just wanted to add that, while it is not animated, I think it really looks great. Very nice job on those snakes. Both in their look and their poses.
My wife has a Todd McFarlane Medusa figure that stands on her computer table... I have a feeling she will have to buy this!

Sure I can understand that kind of thing. I guess I'm just looking at a more "big picture" view of the matter. There have literally been dozens of other "broken" items that have been fixed over the years. YMMV of course.

Agreed.
I feel the same way. That's why I'm basing all my purchases on what the items are in their current state and I don't want to reward practices that I'm not in favor of.
Hopefully they'll not neglect fixing things up (past, present and future) just because of the new thing every week goal.

If you look under costume bundles>holiday, it's listed under "coming soon".

I was just going to say pretty much the same thing - he looks suicidal, like he's about to crack his how tank

Stuff looks awesome.

Shame we have to pay for it.

My think tank character is waiting for Titian Weapons.

Some great costumes in here!

I said I'd try a Robby The Robot type look and... I only did this off of memory and certainly did not go for an exact replica or anything (which is not possible anyway)... I just wanted it to stay away from being too "cool and modern" looking, hehe.
I really couldn't decide on an aura. I think this worked best, but I love the Beast Chest aura too...
