I play Dominators all the time. There is nothing from another powerset that I desire to have. Having played Illusion on a Controller I don't much care or see the need for it on any Dominator.

And the aforementioned "Post Issue 21 dom goodies." I'm *really* hoping for dark/dark.
So mad rite noa, I cant see how else can doms be made better since they are very good to play now. Its the stalkers who need help. I am very upset that doms did not get illusion though. Its the one thing that we are missing since cov launch. I got the feeling when it does finally happen its going to be so butchered that it will not be worth playing.

Some of you may be okay with lacking darkness abilities but I don't think this AT is complete without them. And yes, I would roll another dominator to play something dark/ or /dark. And no, I don't want to wait any longer.
I hate to pull rank here, but I'm a 7 year veteran and VI-friggin-P and I demand to be treated as such! Where are my dark dominator powers? Why don't I have them yet when my patron does?
Even controllers got thrown a bone with /poison and that's not even a 'heroic' poweset!
And blasters... don't get me started. They have the most powersets already and they're getting not one but TWO! WTH.

I'm ok with waiting till post i21 to get the new Dom goodies. Just means I have more time to level the plethora of Doms I already have before making new ones.

I wonder if the powers team want's to see how 'Dark Manipulation' pans out for blasters first. As I could see the control powers in that set, forming a structure to build a 'Dark Control' set.
Also, hooray on new Dom powers coming at some point. I don't play as I often as I used too, but some new control powers for dom's could re-ignite my addiction!

To the OP: I'm pretty sure the criteria for 'easy port' was as little to no new stuff needed. Likewise, I would hope that dominators' illusion would lose one of the redundant invisibility powers. That opens up a power slot, wherein a new power would need to be placed. If they planned to have that new power, a delay would happen for the 'easier' sets to be proliferated. Yes, other AT's are getting their treats. Those are for you too, enjoy 'em for a bit, it will make the wait for the dominator treats be less boring.
As I said in the other thread, they've said that the animation team is booked until after Issue 21, so the sets chosen for proliferation were ones that required no new animations. Which could mean that whatever they are planning to give Doms post-21 will require new animations.

Honestly, I have to agree with DarkCurrent. I don't really care what they may be planning for later. 'Soon(tm)' isn't especially reassuring when everyone but you is getting something - we've waited long enough for Illusion, dang it!
I want to know *why* illusion can't be proliferated *now* - if everyone else is getting something, there better be a darn good reason, and no, 'Soon(tm)' doesn't count. If we're getting it eventually anyway, why *can't* we get it now? And if they're *not* planning to give it to us, well...

Stop everything you're doing, put it all down. Those zone revamps and new tutorial? The new hero content that's 1-20? The new Praetorian content and zone? The two new power sets, and possibly even more? Those new costumes and auras? All those new powers you just proliferated? The Incarnate powers and trials? The whole Paragon Store thing? Stop it.
Doms need proliferated powers. Now. As in, if it doesn't happen five minutes ago I'll quit.

Meanwhile blasters get Dark Manipulation created for them. Low hanging fruit indeed. I could say the same about a dark control set. Oh, and looking at the power changes for energy aura and poison, I don't see why those cottage rule breakings aren't being applied to an illusion port or to getting rid of Dimension Shift in gravity.
