All they said was more proliferation coming post i21 and for i21 they were not doing any sets that needed new animations...
Whilst complaining, please be aware there is a new zone (First Ward), new powersets (Time Manipulation etc.), a wrecked galaxy/new tutorial, 2 revamped zones atlas/mercy, the original galaxy and hero/villain tutorials moving to oro, oro entrance level getting lowered, 2 additional costume sets, the new paragon points and paragon rewards systems, etc. all going in for i21.
Counting GR's 6 zones as an expansion, this is practically (half) an expansion...
Remember that GR's Incarnate stuff went in later than planned, I think this is what is happening this time for Dominators.
But that usually means that any left out will be top of the list for the next proliferation.
Oh and the i21 list above doesn't list everything just the known changes at this time.

I just want to know what the new set is for Dominator. Dom isn't getting anything new in Issue 21 and 3rd round of Proliferation while other ATs get several new sets.
So it is safe to assume that in issue 22, Dom should get two new sets?
Dark Illusion / Dark Assault
and
Whip Control (Gadget/Riot Control) / Whip Assault.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

We just need to be patient. I'm sure that sometime in 2012 there'll be a release about the exciting plans for doms.

So I have perspective on this situation even though you're insinuating i don't. In the end, though, whether I have this many different ATs that I've played and enjoyed, it doesn't make the fact that doms are getting overlooked by proliferation and new set creation for the foreseeable future fair, equitable or smart business.
But continue to ignore the fact that doms are being given the shaft and that you're okay with being treated as a low priority if you enjoy the AT.

DarkCurrent, from your post history prior to this thread, I can see that you are a well balanced player with lots to offer the City of Heroes community. I'm not going to tell you to not be frustrated or disappointed with things in the game, or to avoid posting about them. However, I have to be honest that it frustrates me that rather than enjoy the fact that tons of new powersets are being worked on, you are dividing the game into "us" and "them" camps and protesting a non-situation. In effect, I am protesting your protest.
My hope is that you will eventually see that the game is not divided into factions of haves and have-nots and that you are the source of your own frustration. The developers are not going to hold back 9 archetypes just because they don't have something for 1 of them yet.

Meh, this is no longer even moderately entertaining. After seeing the fantastically dismal "trailer" for i21 that was shown at SDCC, frivolous quibbles like this... are frivolous.
Everyone has a right to an opinion, even if that opinion amounts to "Why do I have to wait for my toy when someone else got theirs today?" We also have the right to keep out opinions to ourselves. Or the right to express them in a rational and adult manner, and move on. We have the right to form and express opinions about other people's opinions, up to and including "Grow up."
However, when it comes to this game, we really only have two rights: to continue paying for it, and play, or stop paying for it, and leave. You can go away mad, but you can't take the ball with you. It's not yours.
