Any info on free transfers?

/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.

Will we be getting a donkey head too?

(I'm just curious)

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

For those that don't have time to run the tf's I feel bad for. I have run a few newspaper/radio missions with my incarnate and have gotten a total of 6 shard drops since i19. There needs to be another way to earn the shards, perhaps instead of merit rewards at the end on level 50 story arcs, the option to earn 2 shards should be available as well.
I think the drop rate is fine. I've gotten the 2nd Tier Incarnate ability for two different characters without running single TF for them; crafting only from Shard drops. Teaming in general seems to up the Shard drop rate, although i don't have number to prove it. In any case, time and effort seemed about right.

I've got both Cardiac Uncommons crafted on my Scrapper, and an uncommon on 3 other toons.
I'm hoping with the 90 shards and 20 components, I'll have enough to craft the Very Rare slot when it goes live.
I usually run ITF/LGTF/Khan TF/STF and the Raids when I get the chance. Luckly for me Justice server likes running it's TFs and Raids, so it's pretty easy to fill a TF.

A decent "Kill all in our way" will probably land you 4-7 shards + a component at the end in about an hour on a Pug.

Might want to rephrase that because,...

...what?

I think he was referring to (If I recall correctly) animated tales were originally going to be part of I18, but then they decided to put them in with the Mutant Pack, so...technically released earlier, but now you gotta pay for it

We got cartoons? When did this happen?

They aren't re-runs of the campy 1960s "Statesman and chums" serials are they?

Animated tails came free with Issue 17. You're thinking of the wolf tail, which they last minute slapped onto the Mutant Pack due to the incredible outcry of furries expecting animal parts.

Because there's no reason anyone would associate mutant super heroes with animals unless they were a furry.

People were expecting animal parts for science and/or mutant packs. And both failed to deliver. So people were upset.

Neither origin screams animal parts so it was their own fault for expecting animal parts.

Branching Paragon Police Department Epic Archetype, please!

The radioactive sludge gave the TMNT human-like forms and intelligence, but the actual *powers* they use are the result of martial arts training. In this game, they would be considered Natural origin.

Considering that animalistic mutants are pretty common in comic lore (Hi, Cap'n Mako!), yes it was a pretty natural assumption to make.

In the game they'd be science, mutant, natural, or even tech if the player wanted. There's no strict rule on origins. Batman is a regular guy but he uses tons of gadgets; both natural and tech fly depending on your viewpoint. And start a thread asking what origin Superman is and that'll go on for 20 pages.

The thing is it depends on a particular person's view of the meaning of origin.

Science: The Turtles were modified by Science to be able to learn martial arts skills
Natural: The Turtles learned martial arts skills

A player could realistically pick either as an origin depending on their personal interpretation of the definition of "Origin".

Considering Posi pretty much said "People wanting animal parts should wait for the mutant pack" no, actually, it wasn't. Also, if you asked people what they would have expected from a mutant pack, animal parts or wierd quasi-bug-glowy-things, I doubt many would have expected what we got.

Given that without the toxic sludge the turtle would never have turned humanoid and thus been able to learn martial arts, I think it's a safe bet to say Science would trump Natural in that case.

All Kryptonians have the same powers as Superman. The game explicitly states this to be Natural origin.

Well since Silver Gale feels differently it comes down to a matter of opinion.

Origin as a term is very loosely defined in the game and subject to different interpretations, the various threads on "becoming an incarnate makes someone magical origin" show that.

Personally the definition I use is "their Origin is what made it possible for them to become a super" in which case the TMNT are science. On the other hand I know some people prefer to define it as "the power source for their abilities" in which case the TMNT are Natural since being a mutated turtle doesn't give them any significant advantages in terms of martial arts.
