Why not? I think it's a great idea.

I wish, but unless they've been working on it alongside GR for a long time I can't see it being announced now, since it would take a lot of work.

The thread in Announcements seems to be shifting towards the idea of cross-server teaming. I hope not, since that is a source of endless Drama in The Other MMO, and could easily be used down the line to justify a server merge.

I'd take that bet too, but there's no timeframe on it. I wouldn't bet on a big zone revamp this close to Praetoria being released.

I guess Apex has a dull costume, though to be completely honest, I'd rather see more spandex on player costumes than the mish mash of random elements I've seen a great deal of players choose.

But I would like to have a fat stripe 2 pattern for chests that had stripes down the arms. Because if you use... Stripe 3? The lines on the torso are not nearly that straight/uniform.

If it matters, most of my toons wear spandex. Occasionally I add some armor on top, but still.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Well the devs have hinted at the idea of really improving team mechanics/ team building. If that is what they have in mind, then I'm pretty pleased (as long as it's as elegant and wonderful as the side-kick revamp).

This could also be Incarnate related, as they've said Incarnate content uses zone events, which sounds like some kind of raid-based system, so maximizing the abiltiy of players to team up for it regardless of what servers they're on seems like a sensible idea.

Plus, the new tech of the Winter Lord's realm, with an instanced co-op raid map being spawned after completing a zone task, was added to the game way after GR was announced, and after the endgame system started being developed.

So if they're going with the MMO endgame = multi-team raids idea, then cross-server teaming totally makes sense.

There is a list of asked-for improvements, such as Team LFM flags, not truncating the search lists, not listing teamed heroes unless they are LFM, etc. If that is shortly in the offing, much wootage!

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

One look at those shapely heroines in there spandex and suddenly you're violating indecent exposure laws, even wearing a cup will still create an unsettling bulge.

Hope so. It would be great if they turned Boomtown into a destructible environment. Can't really do that with the rest of the city because it would be in ruins in minutes but Boomtown already looks like a mess .

Top Cow was ok as well. In those storylines you got a better feel for the background of the main heroes and the history of Paragon City.

But as a player I liked the first line better as it showed the plights of a band of heroes just starting out. The very last page of #12 of the Blue King ones is my very favourite.

the last from Apex, is exactly why I hated the Blue King issues. Ruined the immersion for me on so many levels.

Why? You could say WW Horus and him were a team, so now he's just looking for a new one. :P

I think she more meant the "level 15 scrapper" part.
Of course, a lot of these things are explained by in-game things.
I mean its referred to as a security/threat level, there are mentions that heroes and villains are categorized into ATs, though actually calling "looking for a team" would seem a bit odd since in theory, heroes and villains would use some kind of network, presumably, or get assigned by someone else.

I'd say the last paragraph in the last panel was a note to the players reading the book. As it was the last panel of the last issue it meant:

"Quit reading and get to playing."

The Top Cow series featured the "major" heroes, but they ranged from Okay to Meh to Bleah in various aspects at various times, and I did not care for the way some of the authors treated the various characters. Some of the scripting was just painful to read.

The exception in Top Cow writing was Troy Hickman. I think he gave us a Statesman with humanity and a functional but "interesting" Freedom Phalanx. I really enjoyed his take on Citadel as well. I have continually banged on the drum to revive the comic with Hickman scripting and the Noble Savage doing the art. I think that team could revive either Blue King or Top Cow and put out a sensational product.

I am very interested to see where that "clue" is going to take us.
I think the worst part of the Top Cow series was that Manticore kills a villain in cold blood, and yet all the Freedom Phalanx does is give him a slap on the wrist. He gets a "Get out of Trial free card" and a "Please try not to do it again, young man", and that's it. It was like one big "FU".
