How did you use your transfers - or did you?

Didn't even need them personally.

To answer my own question and that of a few others, I have 20 Transfer Tokens still, so I'd say you can still do them today.

Was not planning on using them, but...

I was on the N P C Global Channel (shameless plug, I know..) Saturday night, and I ended up moving a lvl 50 from Protector to Triumph to help another player get and set up the Atlas Park Teleport Beacon for his SG base.

I then moved the toon back to Protector...

8 off and 1 onto Virtue...I love transfers new alts to roll!

Jack squat. Transfers went to waste for me.

I moved all of my least played characters to the least played servers. I play socially, so it makes sense to me to have all my favorite characters on the servers where my friends where.

This led to a LOT of rearranging.

I used these transfers a lot more than I did on the first round and now I feel very happy with how I have all my characters arranged.

1.) On my home server, Victory, I culled the herd. I kind of turned it into a classic superhero/villain server. I moved a couple characters to Virtue because they had fleshed out backstories (and weren't superheroy), transfered a couple superheroy ones on, and deleted a bunch of lowbies (some were restarted as Praetorians). Now I have lots of room for new characters.

2.) I made Virtue my lore server. I only had one character on there before and then added the two lore characters from Victory. I also started a bunch of new ones and restarted some as Praetorians because I had worked out detailed stories for all of them.

3.) I had started a bunch of characters on several servers over the years that I've never played even though I like their concepts. So I moved them all onto one of the low populated servers and made it my concept farm. I plan to tweek and change them until I feel they're ready to be restarted on either Victory, Virtue or another server.

4.) And I moved a few characters to Infinity because they aren't superheroy and they don't have any background, but I still enjoy playing them. So I think that'll be the theme of this server.

I forgot to. Stupid shiny Kinetic Melee.

I one character I wanted to move still cannot get his name on my chosen server, so no move.

Only moved 2 or 3 toons the first time they had free transfers - haven't
done anything with them this time around.

Although, after reading through this thread, it occurs to me to move a couple
less active toons on my home server to open up a couple slots... Yeah, I
might do that... maybe... if I think about it when I get home tonight...

Update: So, I did end up shuffling a few less-played toons from
my home server to free up some character slots there... I'm glad I
read this thread now...

I would love to see the new traffic levels continue. I just doubt they will. Part of the problem is, even with the new stuff being harder I'm nearing 20 in 3 days.

Most of the new stuff is good, bordering on great. Unfortunately humans are stupid. As such I personally see most running through as quickly as they can to "complete" the new stuff. After a week or so of that traffic will probably drop 50-80%. After two weeks all but the "hardcore" will have as much reason to go here as the other two starter zones, so I see a 90% or higher drop in total traffic due to the harder difficulty.

But that's just my opinion, it really depends on how much people like imagination and good content as opposed to the almost cheat-worthy ease of the other two start zones..

S'why WoW works so well, it offers incremental rewards to the conformists that form most of the worlds population while offering enough cardboard bananas to the nonconformists to bring them into the fold.

I switched places with one hero and one villain. A heroine went to a server where one of my one person SGs needed more heroes; a villainess went the other way to a server where one of my one person VGs needed more villains. And I moved a character off the server I made him to where I wanted him, since I'd made him there because the game wouldn't let me claim any new slots at the time.

I ummed and erred about shifting various less-played characters over to a second server for storage, but I only ended up moving a single scrapper, having decided I really do prefer Claws/Elec to Spines/Elec and will probably never play the spines version again.

At one point, my SG on Virtue had an alt night on Victory, this was back before we got more slots, so we went to another server to help out the people with most of their slots full.

So, with the free transfers, I moved over my two highest level characters from Victory, an MA/DA Scrapper and a Plant/Ice Dom to Virtue. And punted a level 12 blaster I may not keep to Victory.

Transferred a few less-played toons off Protector and onto other servers.

Didn't use them.

I have every slot on Pinnacle filled & have no intention of playing anywhere else. If I ever want to make a new character, I'll delete a lowbie.

Moved a bunch (5 or so) of 50s off Virtue. Moved a couple of 50s that I had moved last time back to Virtue, since I want to play them again and I don't see the point of playing on another server.

Moved the kheldians off of Virtue again when I realized that Kheldians aren't going to be fun or get more attention anytime soon.

Moved some characters I didn't feel like deleting but wasn't playing either off of Virtue. I went from 4 free slots to 12 free slots on Virtue, then started filling them up with new alts.
