Increased drops might be an attempt at making AE ticket farming less attractive. Also, new players on free accounts are more likely to buy market and invention licenses if they can actually afford the stuff on the market.

Not sure how much that NDA is worth, since you can get on the beta forums without ever getting on the beta server.

The Powers tab has them under Inherents. The only thing it lists as a Temp power on my blaster is Taser Dart.

Not being able to slot them could have been a possible trade-off for them becoming inherent. That's not the case, but when we first found out about this we weren't sure.
Edit: Hmm, for some reason I thought things like Jump Pack and Shadowy Presence were classed as temp powers. So i guess there are inherents that can't be slotted. -
I'm not sure why people are confused by this. We already have inherent powers, we know you can slot them and all of that. Why wouldn't you be able to slot these?

To answer my own question and that of a few others, I have 20 Transfer Tokens still, so I'd say you can still do them today.
