Who's Your "Go-To" Character?
My 'Go-to' character is my Fire/Kin/Stone. No matter the sittuation its got S/L soft cap and with a FS capped dmg. Besides its always fun to run up to some of the AV's on the STF and tank em while everyone freaks out as my HP bounces around as the teams im on try for the Mo badge. The LGTF is always a blast and with this toon im almost garantueed a spot on teams. Heck its my most heavly invested in toon with perma Hasten Perma Earth's Embrace and the def this toon pushes it almost reminds me of my 2nd favorite toon my Claws/SR, the F/K/Stone just pushes out dmg in AoE quicker otherwise the scrapper would be number 1 in my book. But i just like lots of orange numbers and the ticks fire pushes always catches my attention.
Let's see... depends what server I'm on, really, and what content is being run.
* ITF and LGTF, I'll bring my Night Widow.
* RSF, I'll bring my Thugs/Dark.
* Redside respecs, I'll usually bring the Night Widow to the third one and my Sonic/Sonic to the other two.
* Redside Hami raids, I'll dual-box my Stone/Elec Brute (built for KB protection off the ground since I usually lead one of the yellow teams) and Ice/Therm (for holding extra EoEs and getting a second helping of merits).
* Any other redside content really depends on the level (most of my builds don't exemplar well).
* For just about anything heroside, I'll bring either my Rad/Psi or my Earth/Storm.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
I think the character creation screen is my "go-to"
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

My Plant/Thorns permadom "Hurticulture". He's so good, it feels like cheating.

Fire/elec blaster. Maybe Fire/cold if I'm afraid of getting hurt or something.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
my main Inv/SS tank.
io'd to nth degree
My go-to is my Elec/SH Brute
I always log in to my Fire/Fire blaster first. He's my main toon and mostly my merit *****. But Often I do switch to other toons to compliment the team on whatever TF we're doing.
@Sparky Jenkins || Freedom Server | Union Server
Main Hero: Inferno Sparky - Fire/Fire Blaster
Main Villain: Kerry Astrid - Fire/Cold Corruptor
Dark/Dark/Dark defender on Blueside or SoA Huntsman on Redside.
My Stone/Inv Brute, Bloodstone Fiend. Have had him since City of Villains launched, and he is by far my favorite character.
I have many alts, but right now it is my Spine/Elec scrap who is getting all the attention.
She is the first I log in because she is a great mix of sturdyness and fragility which makes for a challenging and fun playtime.
And, I want to see what to see what Power Surge is all about

For high level content I'll grab my Warshade. If I'm gonna be exemping I'll log into my PB. Khelds are my favorite of all the ATs for their shapeshifting and the versatility it provides. My Warshade performs better at higher levels where all his IOs are providing their benefits.

None, honestly. I'm such an alt-a-holic I don't have a "I'm going to log into this most of the time" type character. Sometimes I feel like a high level, sometimes a lowbie, sometimes a villain, sometimes a hero, and then if I have friends on, whatever works with what they're playing.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Mind/Cold Controller, great crowd control, debuffs, team buffs...can't go wrong with it!
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
Spines/Fire Heroside
Bots/Storm Villian
I go through phases where it's mostly one character I play for a while, with dalliance in others, then I eventually switch my interest to another character.
The ones that get the most mileage are the ones with good costumes, bios, and themes going.
But...if there's trouble brewing...if there's some dangerous thing planned that people need help with...I usually pull out my tricked-out Inv/SS Tanker. Or, as one global friend put it, "This is going to be epic. Dude, go get your monster."

Just make sure your not using said SS/Invuln against the Psi Clockwork King portal mission. That tends to get ugly really quickly for invulnerability. I still chuckle about the invuln tankers and scrappers in a team with me once who told me to stand back and watch how true defensive sets work. And I got to watch them all faceplant really really quickly after aggroing half the map. Then THEY got to watch me hit Elude and take out every single enemy they had aggroed, plus a few more groups before Elude crashed.
Needless to say, the team let me tank Psi clockwork king during that mission.

I picked my Blaster because nobody brings the damage any more. If there's the slightest scariness in the content, I bring along a Forcefielder and the scary goes away.

Kawaiii, my FireKin.
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

Main: Trixi Chalk, 50 Katana/WP, can chew up everything in the room, though slowly, and only has a 20% def psi/range hole.
Back-up: Saltier, 39ish Fire/Ice Blaster. She would be 50 by now but I locked her XP off at 25 for a long time, during which she ran a bazillion Radio mishs in Talos.
Currently working on: Liskil, 22 Katana/Dark, and Amber Chalk, 23 BS/SR, but geez, I've gotta respec AC already. Swift sucks.
Hmm... I guess that'd be my Ill/Rad? She's my go-to for TFs anyways. Funny thing is, I don't like illusion at all and in fact find it boring.
Go-to toons...
WM/SD Brute - Redside, well io'd and so much fun.
Earth/Emp troller - Blueside, great for teams, is my usual merit gathering toon
currently reading: A Mighty Fortress (David Weber)
For 90% of game content (Read: When I cant stand watching my Arch/MM farm anymore) I always pull out my Perma-AM Rad/Sonic Defender.
She's an absolute beast! Solo'd almost every AV in-game and is currently nearing the 600 mark for badges.
Redside, I pull out ol' reliable, my SS/WP Brute for any and all SFs.
If I am in a "just for fun" kind of mood, I'll bring out my Bots/Dark MM. He tears through content even faster than my Rad/Sonic. 25 AVs down and counting!

Currently, my Energy/Energy blaster Starflier, although my DP/MM, the Company Girl, is pushing for more.
Historically, some kind of tanker, mostly Inv/SS.
