Make a Crab Soldier.
They are AOE monsters. Great damage, great team toggle buffs, survivability, and pets. -

Quote:Congrats man, That's awesome!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUyx8xYPN1Q
No longer shall the masses decry our role as mere taunt-bots! No longer is the realm of possibility the sole domain of the almighty Ill/Rad!! Today, a Tanker brings down Paladin.
Yes naysayers, without Shivans.
Back Alley Brawler would have been proud. -
I'm eager to see what Phantom and Polar Light pets are, also a Vanguard Wizard pet would be sick.
-
Your chat box in the pic makes it look like you were talking to yourself... and getting responses!
-
No, reward merits stay with your character. Hero Merits (Or Villain merits) are from running morality missions (tips) and are only used in Fort Trident/The Crucible to buy stuff) They vanish if you change sides.
-
Forget that feature. Almost nobody uses it successfully. Just go to Pocket-D or RWZ (whichever your server tends to use) and join a league there. They are forming constantly.
-
On the incarnate tree, under the equip tab, it shows the percentage you have completed in each tier. (I'm assuming it's the % needed to "unlock" it)
For example, My brute has only run one (failed) BAF and has 25% of one (judgement or destiny, I can't remember which) complete. It doesn't give an exact number of new type xp's needed, but it can't be too much. -
Weren't the past anniversary badges available in the ski chalet during the winter event. (for candy canes)?

There are a few non-accolade badges worth getting too. For example, some badges unlock gladiators for the Arena (fun, but sadly rarely used).
Others, like the market badges, allow you to have more slots to buy and sell, very handy. Collecting all the exploration badges in a zone awards merits too! I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of right now too.
It is may also be fun for a themed toon to have a badge title showing that reflects their back story of costume. -
Names that make no sense often get me the best in-game responses. Like my crab named Bogart Nacho. People like it.
Also names that are inspired by reading these forums tend to get positive remarks also, like my warshade, name Purpled Out.

I have an Earth Melee/Dark Armor Brute (50)... horrible horrible endurance usage, but I still like him.
Throw in a sonic/Electric Defender who is painfully boring to play.
. -
My new warshade, 'Purpled Out' will get most of my attention this weekend.
Also my Dom (Mind/Earth) whos at 47 should be 50'd by tomorrow night. -
I am always a fan of free new stuff. Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.

That's one crazy idea, I just might try it.
-
I think this about covers it.
IF you managed to confuse someone to tank him, AND use your temp power on him, AND overcome his regen, AND avoid/subdue the ambushes, then I will not only tip my hat to you, I will GIVE you my hat AND a big cookie. -
This. Crabs are excellent at AOE. A great bonus to teams. And look really really cool.
-
Defeat mobs (lvl 20+) tips will drop at random -> Investigate the tip thru your contact window -> complete the mission -> When 10 mission are complete (you can only get credit for 5 every 20 hours) , hunt more mobs until the next tip drops (it will be the morality mission) -> complete the mission. You will be rewarded a merit for it.

Quote:After getting a character of mine to 50, I've realised something with all the teaming and TFing that's been going on.
I hate my Stone Armour Tanker.
I hate him because if I'm on a team, and there's no Kinetics using character with speed boost, I feel I'm a dead weight.
What awaits me is a series of missions of either getting to the fight last, or of constant toggling and de-toggling as I bring up granite, then drop it, then hope it's recharged by the time I get to the next mob.
And as I do this, it leaves me thinking just one thing:
Why the hell didn't I roll Invun?
As much as I love Rushmore's costume, his style and roleplaying on him, I hate his primary power set (I do love Stone Melee though), and I level slow enough that the thought of rerolling him makes me want to cry in how far he'll be from 50 again.
That's my character I hate. What's yours?
I played a KM/SR Brute up to 41 after GR launched... I hate it so much. I think its the KM part of it, but I am no finding SR to my taste either, Can't really put my finger on it. I feel bad deleting him cause his costumes are cool and all, maybe I'll just transfer him to another server, if free transfers ever come around again. -
After the tedious process of respecing all dozen 50's, I'm sure I will at least unlock the ability in all of them. This way, if the shards happen to drop I can put them to some use. I am, so far, only actively seeking shards on two or three of them. (the ones that I prefer for teaming and tf's)

Most of the other Dom secondary's have a power boost/build up in them somewhere. (psionic doesn't I think). It should be worked into the set somewhere.
That aside, I like the idea. -
The don't have true builds. Rikti Mages (for example) totally break all the rules that apply to players.
