Soloing Dr.Kahn

I love Dominators. I haven't heard of anyone that has soloed Dr. Kahn. I think it can be done. The hard part would be Reichsman (of course). I'm thinking that you would need to confuse on of the oncoming AV's. Which one though? For this reason, I think Mind Control would be ideal. I think having either /fire or /psi will be the answer for the secondary. No one else could combat the regen. /Psi is more survivable which makes me believe it is the choice.

What do you guys think?

I'm thinking that softcapped to smashing.
I would say 2 Self-Heals incase he lands a couple.
Perma Drain-Psyche

If and Negative resistance/def is possible I think it would help with his lightning bolts.

I might be off by saying this but, If this could be done, It would be ridiculous.

Reichsman has 200,000+ HPs so I doubt 10 shots of the Dimensional Grounding Ray will be enough.

I know his HP is amazing. I do not know what his regen is though. Anyone? So ideally if you can overcome his regen and not die, eventually (no matter how long it may be), he will die.

well, i don't know about him specifically, but most AVs regen about 5% every 15 seconds, or .33%/second, so with 200,000hp thats umm.. 660hp/second? without any outside buffs, or debuffs.

reichsmans regen is only 0.05%, which is approx 144 hp/sec with the amount of hp he has

i think by default he has around 80 or 90% resist to all dmg and is immune to all mez except immobs

his large pbaoe he likes to use also has a 100 mag stun component on it which if that hits you will hurt you a lot since domination wont cover for you

i recently duo'd barracuda sf with a friend and reichs was made pretty easy due to perma phantom army on the troller i was using

trying to solo him with a dom i would say is suicide since almost all his powers could nearly 1 shot a dom and with no -tohit or -dmg he will hit like a truck

What was your friends build? What is your secondary? Good job though. So a illusion controller would fare better? What would be the optimal secondary? You know what I realized? Reichsman is OP

Doesn't Reichsman phase if you don't have the temp power from a MM or Blaster I think it is? I bet a MM would be able to take him down.

That is for barracuda isn't. Bots/Traps? Wouldn't that force me to take the aggro though. I think an Ill would be better if it is that hard to take the alpha on a bots... there is no confuse to stack 4 million times. Ideally, all I need to do is get out of his lightning bolts.. which means I need AoE defense.....TO MIDS!!!

EDIT:No way that will work out very well... I checked numbers on the lightning bolts. Only a 50' radius I can just stay out of the range then drop melee and fissure right after the bolts are done... they have a 60 sec recharge.

apologies for taking awhile to get back to you on this, but my build was ill/cold/ice troller and my friend was using a sonic/rad corr (he dual boxed a mm so we could get the mm temp, he never actually used the mm once we hit reichs with the mm temp)

i would suggest ill/cold because cold dom really does a number on the baddies resists, and because of heat loss you essentially have unlimited endurance

because of reichs dmg, i would not expect the phantasm to last too long unless you shield him and the AI bug gets fixed, but as long as you keep snow storm on him, he cant fly, so hes limited to 1 ranged attack if he gets away from the decoys

the key to fighting reichs isnt just surviveability, but end management for a very long fight, when me and my friend duo cuda sf, it took us about 20 min to just kill him

An Elec/Psi Dom can completely drain Reichsman's endurance, and prevent him from gaining any. Then he just stands there. Dunno if an Elec/Psi would be able to drain Reichsman and the 4 AVs at the same time...would be fun to try tho =)

Jalena's post is inaccurate. A single elec dom CAN floor his end, but only for the vast majority of the fight. Near the end, he pops some flavor of ultra regen which pushes his end recovery well beyond what even a team of sappers can control. I don't know what power he activates, but it drives his recovery up stupid high.

Sounds doable. Just painfully long.

Also, here's a hint. You don't need to hold Reichsman the whole time to prevent him from hitting you. If you immobilize him and stand far enough away, he doesn't attack. Not even ranged attacks. At least, last I remember.

I saw him threw a rock when I did that on my plant controller, but maybe I wasn't far enough ; either way, all he did was throw that rock, and it wasn't very threatening. I could sit there for minutes, and that controller wasn't even softcapped (although close to it).

The Khan one never phases (and I think it's defenders who get the temp in Barracuda).
