  1. During my testing of Sleet, I noticed that while the first 15s seemed to be auto-hit, the second half requires a to-hit check. So not fully slotting the power might result in you only seeing the debuff for 15s most of the time.
  2. Plant/ is also another good option.

Once you reach perma levels of global recharge, slotting for duration becomes much more important than recharge. Slotting for recharge only nets you 1-2s while duration can be 10x that.

Like Mag, I'd also recommend adding a damage IO and a Peroxisome HO to Char.

I think he's referring to the Regenerative Tissue +Regen Proc mentioned in the OP.

The panacea works with the spirit tree as seen here.

It's one of the few powers I would actually slot with the proc.

The build didn't seem to export correctly, the base slot of Stamina has the Performance Shifter IO proc in it.

The 6th slot in Drain Psyche is necessary for the Accuracy bonus. I just noticed I could use the End Mod/Acc instead of a straight Acc IO and still maintain 95% tohit against +4s.

I've been doing some testing with Sleet since I posted that build and discovered that you can stack Sleet's debuff. So I've moved the slotting of Ice Storm to Sleet (swapping the Damage IO with the Knockdown proc) and replaced Ice Storm with Hibernate. Sleet can now stack for about 10s. While it's not a long time, it is more consistent than the Achilles' Heel proc. However, I'm still trying to find a way to add a 6th slot to Sleet to fit the Achilles' Heel proc for even more -Res (being able to hit -100% Res on a Dominator is just sick).

I also replaced the Damage Purple IO in Char with the Unbreakable Constraint Smashing Proc since Mids says its a better choice for the power's overall DPS.

It does in fact proc on everyone as seen here.

I haven't tested the proc chance when you have two Spirit Trees out however.
  10. I'd imagine it works wonders in Triage Beacon or any other toggle or psuedo-pet heal/regen power since it hits each friendly within range.
  11. Guess I'll be the first to post my build. It's pretty much perm everything that matters, HP capped, soft-capped to S/L, etc. I normally run the Dam/Immob Alpha and have the Rech/Heal as a backup. If you have any questions about it let me know.

  13. Power Proliferation. Any would do.
  14. I don't believe the -Damage component of Darkest Night is resistible so its like a ~20% boost to your resistance across the board.
  15. Don't skimp on E/N defense. Energy attacks have a ton of -def as well and unlike S/L damage, Willpower has almost zero resistance to Energy attacks so you're going to feel every hit.
  16. I picked up both Musculature Core Boost and Spiritual Radial Boost to play around with on my Fire/Psi.

I've been using the Musculature the majority of the time and only switching to Spiritual when I run the level 54 TFs for more -regen and a larger buffer against -recharge. For day-to-day play, I've found it hard to turn down a boost to my damage.

So... it is possible for me to do that attack chain gapless with 60% global Recharge, Hasten, and the Uncommon Alpha boost. Smite is at 74% Recharge, Siphon Life at 41%, and Midnight Grasp at 80%. That Alpha boost helps out a lot, so I am wondering if for Issue 19.5 with the Rare and Very Rare boosts, will we be able to do a better DPS chain? Perhaps Siphon Life > Midnight Grasp ad nauseum?
Midnight Grasp is the long pole with a requirement of 234% recharge, so the alpha boost needs to net you 24%. The Very Rare will have you covered.

    Epicness??

Domination has a slick explosion-like animation.
Not much compares to the epicness of a permadom.

OT: Why I love my Brute(s): The pacing. Even if they're taking the same time to clear a mission as one of my scrappers the fury-chasing and auto-brawl makes it feel faster.
I'm also interested to know which combo can cruise through +4/x8 Arachnos missions.
  20. I think you can only slot the Gremlins with Pets and Pet Recharge Sets.

Or maybe just rely on Domination for that.
Fly is at the speed cap while unslotted. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it's currently a waste to slot any sort of Flight Speed enhancement in the power.

You can find a better explanation here.
  22. The general consensus is that the APPs are stronger than the PPPs (Fire and Ice being top tier).

Fire/Psi has more AoE than it knows what to do with, but lacks the mitigation and hard controls that the other sets bring so I like Ice for filling in Fire/'s gaps. Sleet is a nice stand-in since Fire/ doesn't have Ice Patch or Earthquake.

You might also want to add two slots to Char for more damage since its DPA is higher than Psi Dart, Mental Blast, and Subdue.
  23. Haven't loaded it into Mids, but here are few suggestions based on the slotting.

Char actually does respectable damage. You might want to consider dropping a few damage enhancements into it.

I'd also suggest slotting Flashfire with Absolute Amazement (everything except the proc since it doesn't work) if you have the cash.

Swap Tough and Fire Shield's slotting since Fire Shield's base values are higher.

Are you trying to go for S/L or Melee defense?
  24. My guess is that Brutes don't have Spines because of the interaction between Spines and Stone Armor.
  25. Earth/Psi works well because you can stack stuns.
