Why i love my brute

At the beginning let me say that I ONLY play female toons. So that means I'm telling you I'm an African American male. With that said let me say I love my current toon more than any of the other ones I've ever created. The reason(s) why are as follows.

1.She works for Arachnos (I'm so glad I bought the collectors edition and applied that code because that means my toon can have that cape).

2.She is a member of Knights of Arachnos! This is an Arachnos themed villain group. I believe it's the number 2 group of villains online.

3.She's Christmas themed! People may not realize it, but I love the Santa Theme for Christmas. I love his mythology so much I turned it on its head with the creation of this villain.

4.) She has super strength, invulnerability, and can fly!

Those are just my top four reasons, but there are plenty more!

as long as your draw the line for your 'love' of this character there and don't go any further I think it's ok.

The Porcelain God - DarkKinetics Corruptor
Meat Juice - DarkDarkSoul Brute
Pretty and Strong - Do you really have to ask?

Why i love My Brute...
Built him as a concept character. Found out War Mace had a bone option so took that (he's called Bone - Daddy) and knew nothing about the power, what a great set! He's got a skull head and is a Voo Doo type living dead kinda guy. His mutation is he jumps, breaks his bones then wrenches them out of his body to smack mobs with. Dark would have been the obvious choice for his secondary but i'd already played /Dark on a Scrapper and i try never to use the same power twice. I took / Elec, as that sort of fitted with his being reanimated from the dead... again, what a great set, especially that it blooms later, giving you something to look forward to. I hadn't done any research on either power set but just out of concept i created a brilliantly fun character to play.

I'm glad you're enjoying yours IshshaChets, Brutes Rock!

I've got many concept characters of all Archetypes. I guess my favorite Brute would have to be my werewolf, Loopy Loup Garou. He was based on a character I originally created for the Playstation wrestling game Smackdown vs Raw, so in CoH he's an ex-wrestler who's trying to clear his name after being framed by his managers.

He's a lot of fun because he's a parody of various wrestlers, and takes his catchphrases from them, like "Can you smell what the werewolf is cookin'?" He's currently EM/Willpower, although I plan on creating a Claws version. I originally wanted claws, but since that wasn't available I with with EM because of its punches, and the similarity of Whirling Hands to Spin. Eventually, I came up with concept that as he fights, his muscles overheat, and start glowing red. So he has this sort of dark, blood red aura around him, from both EM and Willpower, thanks to Power Customization.

And of course he has Super Leap and Combat Jumping, due to his experience leaping off of ropes and such. So he's this great hulking werewolf bounding around all over the place. He's gone Rogue, too, so I can play him on the hero side. He's not really a villain, after all, just a "Heel".

My other Brute is really just an alternate version of my Tanker, and while I like him equally well as both, I think when it comes to characterization he's more a tank than a brute. I've created an Electric Brute, but just didn't like his concept. I really wanted him to be ranged, and was happier when I remade him as a Dominator. I've also got a Stone Brute who's another wolf character. None of those are as much fun as the Loopster, though.

What combo do you play? I've always found +4/x8 to be more trouble than its worth... even with the few brutes I have that can withstand it.

OT: Why I love my Brute(s): The pacing. Even if they're taking the same time to clear a mission as one of my scrappers the fury-chasing and auto-brawl makes it feel faster.

Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."

I'm also interested to know which combo can cruise through +4/x8 Arachnos missions.

Stonefather-stone/wp/soul...fun concept toon turned main

former scientist researching pollution in crey's folly(PRE-big boom)...gets trapped under mudslide and wakes up years later to find out not only is the world different, but so is he. he's a vigilante b/c he wants to sets things right, but knows that playing by the books only gets you so far..especially versus a group that has half a city on its payroll.

by far the most powerful and fun toon ive ever made(and thats A LOT..6+ year vet with raging altitis). i can run +4/8 and barely break a sweat versus most mobs. even many of the ones i should have trouble with(looking at you arachnos, devouring earth, and longbow..oh and the cimerorans) with some careful use of inspirations i can keep on smashing.
