I like the traveling. It makes it feel like a CITY of Heroes, rather than a Neighborhood of Heroes.

It baffles me when I see people complaining about travel time in a game where we can cover a mile in 30 seconds or less. We have more options for travel powers than we have ever had and people don't want to actually use them? I still take the long way to get to a mission a lot of the time, simply because I enjoy flying or leaping through the city and getting the feel that it actually IS a city.

And it makes perfect sense to be sent to the Hollows, or Boomtown, or Crey's Folly, or Dark Astoria for a mission. If you're a villain, and you want to do something nefarious, wouldn't it make more sense to do it someplace no one goes to? There is no police presence in any of those zones, which makes them ideal places for villains to set up shop.

Personally, I'd like to see those zones actually have a couple story arcs taking place in them. Maybe something that actually explains how Dark Astoria got to be foggy and zombie infested. Or an arc that goes into why Boomtown is a blasted out ghost town. Faultline got that treatment when they introduced Jim Tremblor as a contact and revamped the zone, But DA, Boomtown, and Crey's Folly are just big empty zones, with nothing to do in them unless you are sent there randomly by a contact. Oh, and they have Giant Monsters wandering around in them, who are apparently bored and lonely because no one cares they are there anymore.

So, that's what I'd like to see sometime soon. Something to actually DO in the zones the devs created and then apparently forgot about. I suspect they were made when street sweeping was what everyone did to level and they wanted to give them different locations to do that in, but when the game gravitated more to story arcs and door missions they got left behind.

Yes please. I would never play another character ever. I don't care that Domination wouldn't effect a good chunk of the powers. This has been on my wishlist ever since Dominators came into existence.

I'd like to see new powersets. Whips should be given to other sets besides mastermind. I would also like to see a better rewards system for Cathedral of Pain and also some drops in it. The way it is now it's really hard to find people who want to do it.

There are some pretty outrageous and hefty wishes on this list already.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

Power Proliferation. Any would do.

Ice Melee/Ice Armor for Scrappers and Brutes is top on my list, and if I had to choose only one, it would be this one.

A way to save recipes in the base

A method for making the getting of Shards easier for solo toons..but not too easy, we are trying to be Incarnates after all

And a new power..."Return to contact"...I am looking at you Independence Port

Lisa.

they did try Ice Melee/ Frozen armor back in CoV beta, they withdrew it apparantly do to issues with the Brutes inherent. I didn't play one in beta, but I do remember Brute Ice Melee having Ice Sword Circle that Ice Assault has, not sure what power it replaced.
Although given how well Gravity Control works for doms before Wormhole and Sing, I would have no problem with those sets for brutes.

EA ported to Scrappers and Tankers. I don't care if it's "underwhelming". I want.

But really, any more proliferation. Illusion Control Doms, Dark Blasters, etc.

Wild Streak - Lv. 50(+3) Beast Mastery/Sonic Resonance Mastermind, Amnesty - Lv. 50 Staff Fighting/Dark Armor Stalker

I would like three things:

1- Some form of storage tied to global accounts, not just particular toons (gmails not good enough)

2- Cross server pvp (both arena and zones)

3- Pvp in praetorian zones. . . . just a thought

PS- and oh yea, moar tf/sf's

Darkness Domination
Dark Assault
Broadsword for brutes
War Mace and Super Strength for scrappers

That's my short list. That's been my short list for 3+ years.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

Villain content for HEAT's

Whips as ranged and assault powerset.
Illusions domin.
Martial arts secondary for blasters.
Staff melee powerset.
Lots of new upgraded versions of costume pieces in HD.
New APP options.
Complete power pool revamp, APP & PPP power customization.
New loaded screens for zones from the contest they did.
SG offline invitation via globlal email.
...
Cool stuff

A means to invite your own alts to an SG.

Global permissions for base storage; so all my alts can have the same access instead of using character-linked SG ranks.

The ability to store salvage in bases in stacks, like in the market.

Fury has changed quite a bit since then; and if /Dark Brutes can do OK despite having Stun aura, then an /Ice Brute should work OK with a Slow aura.

My proliferation wishlist:

Illusion Doms.

/Ice Scrappers or Brutes.

/Nin Scrappers or Brutes.

Axe Stalkers.

/Traps Controllers.

/Rad Masterminds.

A Martial Arts or Super Strength based secondary for Blasters.

Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth

Dark Assault for Dominators. I've been dying to tie Plant Control and that.

Peacebringer fixes. They lag badly behind their Warshade brethren, and only minor fixes to make the powers more synergistic would be needed.

APP, PPP, PP color customization. I cringe every time my custom colored characters shoot off or use a travel power that clashes with my hand picked colors.

New Purple Sets. Though I cringe at the thought since I finally finished Purpling out the Toons I wanted to, it be nice having more choices no matter how expensive they'll be initially.

Now those are the simple ones. My pie in the sky wishes are more Base items (Base Tailor, Market Interface, new items), new Powersets (Laser Rifle), new Power Pools (Weapon Ranged or Melee, Travel Power Slide), new Archetype Melee/Support and Support/Melee (Red/Blue) and Mastermind Pet Customization.

Hm... seems all the posters here are veterans.
Well... here is something from a newbie player.

This is a wonderful game that is overlooked by so many people that choose to go play DCUO or some other flashy/shiny new games that lack so much in comparison to CoH.

I just dusted off all my other games for now, when I realized just how good this game is.

So my wish is: Put something in the game for the new players, just like the veteran rewards for the old players. Create a balance between us newbies and the veterans that by now have all those great rewards and already most accolades.

Some examples would be:
Special rewards for teaming up with veterans, for both veterans and newbies, so that we are more welcomed in teams and even desired for teams. The higher level we reach, the more we understand the game, and the more we understand it, the more we want to play it.

Unique item/costume set/piece for newbie players, for 3 months and/or unique yearly costume available on each January(or CoH launch date).

One month/two months aid pet that also gives game tips for all new accounts, for the first 3 characters created, obtainable through a quest.
or
Temporary "panic button" power, available for one month/two months after
account creation, for all characters created.

Additional title above character name or special sign/aura above head that states the newbie status of that character.

All these can be used because not many veterans are willing to forfeit their amazing veteran rewards to create new accounts.

Also, we might recommend the game to our friends and increase the somewhat thin base of players. Win for ncsoft, win for players.

That being said, I love the veteran rewards and can't wait to get there, but to get there, this game must survive and thrive by adding a new player base constantly.
Just my opinion.

1. Add all appropriate Sets for Mastermind's primary pets. Ninja Oni still takes knockback set when he should be taking hold and immb sets.

2. Give Corruptor Poison Blast set and /Poison secondary.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

I would also very, very much support Peacebringer fixes and APP/PPP/Pool Customization, even if that customization for things like the Speed pool is just Minimal FX (because glaring orange fire glow thing of Hasten + SS is kinda ugly on most of my characters).

Wild Streak - Lv. 50(+3) Beast Mastery/Sonic Resonance Mastermind, Amnesty - Lv. 50 Staff Fighting/Dark Armor Stalker

My (ongoing) Wish List, in no particular order:

Lairs

Device Power Alt Animations (ice guns, fire gauntlets, etc)

Mystic Power Alt Animations (Runes floating in the air (ala Demon Summoning), wands, staffs)

Jet/Rocket Packs (as alt animations for flight)

Retro Costumes (bubble helmets, jodhoppers, retro space suits, ray guns)

Teleport Pool revamp (including and expecially the Teleport Travel Power)

A setting that allows you to keep things like the Nemesis Staff and Blackwand in hand. (for example, radiation emission actually has some animations that utilize the Staff is it's out)

A generic melee weapons power pool , ranged weapons power pool, and defensive shield power pool. to fill the same tertiary nitch as the Fighting pool (Just a couple of moves plus a couple of self-buffs. Sword, Mace, Pistol, Bow, and Shield.)

It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets

... Hit it ...

It replaced Ice Patch.

Also - Ice/Ice Stalkers - you can replace Hibernate with a MoG like power.

Radiation Assault for Dominators - Take two Rad Melee attacks from the Shivans and Tiers 1-7 of Rad Blast. Reorganize as needed (leave the recharge on Neutrino Bolt alone, thx).
Whip Assault for Dominators - complete with a "Sonic Boom" Type power (Tiny Aoe, Superior Smashing/Energy, -Res and KD).

Fix EA and Gravity Control.

Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib
/facepalm - Apply Directly to the Forehead!
Formally Dragos_Bahtiam - Abbreviate to DSL - Warning, may contain sarcasm

Shadow Shard being opened up to villains - Arachnos, having made a pact with Vanguard in the Tin Mage TF have to co-operate with both Longbow and Vanguard AND the US military to set up a buffer zone in the shadow shard to help stop the Rularuu infestation (i.e. co-op zone stuff)

New enemy types - maybe something Lovecraftian in nature - how about seeing what the Praetorian Devouring Earth looks like?

New NPCs - where's the new War Witch the original prophesied about in the comics during her covenspace? Will she have a new name? Will she be Apex's sidekick and look up to him like a fangirl with him being mildly uncomfortable about it? How about Horus? And how about an updated model of Apex with War Witch's sword in a scabbard on his back?

More alternate animations please!

More hairstyles!

I'd like to see level-specific direct trading with B.O.T.L.E.R./Trashcan using recipes and influence for Uncommon recipes on a 20 hour timer; using something like 1 level-specific recipe for 20x[Merit cost for wanted recipe in traded recipes; desired level or higher only] + [Merit cost for wanted recipe] x 40k inf

E.g. to get a level 32 Red Fortune: Def/End (50 merits) you'd destroy 1000 merits worth of recipes, level 32 or higher, together with 50 x 40k in = 2 000 000 influence.

It'd give recipes worthless to the player acquiring them through rolls/drops a a fate better than vendors, while assisting players with finishing builds.

Personally, I'd like to see drop rates for tips increase and/or allow more tips than just "enough" to drop and/or have tip drops stick around if you do a morality mission. (Alignment tip ones anyway.) The way things are now, getting tips can be a painful process for a character without AoEs. The limit on how many can be done in a day ought to be enough, I'd think.

On the travel time issue... Well, sometimes travelling itself does feel pretty cool. But there's also times where you get sent repeatedly back and forth between ends of Independence Port. Or between Peregrine Island and Atlas Park. Or off *anywhere* to do something that, storywise, there seems no reason it couldn't be done by phone. That gets tiresome. I'm not sure most of that is actually a soluble issue though.

It'd also be nice to have Traps as a controller secondary, but I'm not sure I expect that to happen. Doesn't stop me from wanting to make an Elec/Traps though.

Wish list right..

1. ability to search all salvage in your base instead of running from bin to bin. I'm thinking index computer that will sort all your stuff for you. Maybe cost 1 salvage rack slot or something.

2. Invite alt characters to SG / VG

3. Be able to combine temp powers to costume parts. E.G. Have costume part jet boots and have the Jet Pack temp fuel the jet boots. Both animations work when your Temp Jet Pack is on already, so it would be nice to be able to right click the temp and choose not to display jet pack. Would like for Jet pack to fuel wing parts as well.

4. Different Jet Pack costume parts for flight. E.G. Goldbrick for example

5. PvP prefab base / fun house. Basically instead of using your base. They create a prefab base in which you can spend X amount of points to put items in and move things around. Have different types of goals. Defeat all. Capture the flag. Hold the flag the longest. Teams can bet INF.

6. Alternate look for Veteran temp powers. Feels like everyone went to the same discount magic wand shop.

7. A second power choice for some sets this way the cottage rule is still observed for those interested but for those who would like an update can pick a different power instead. So Force Field can have the standard powers and Powers from Column B to choose from.

8. Revamp the Respec maybe if only at level 50 to a more stream line approach. At 50 you have all your powers and slots.

9. The ability to hold more IOs when doing a respec. Otherwise you can spend several respecs just trying to save some expensive IOs you no longer want in one build but want to place in another.

10. The ability to pay a small fee just to change one power for another or to move 1 or 2 slots around in a respec so as not to waste a full respec just to make one power 3 slotted and another 4. Or to change from Super Speed to Fly.

11. The ability to toggle off the animation from Ninja Run but keep the speed bonus.

12. ability to only have 1 shoulder item or to mix and match shoulder items.

13. mid arm and mid leg items. Dagger, Knife. Vials, Feathers, ammo packs.

14. Personal Arch type emotes.. E.G. Assault Rifle sling weapon on shoulder emote. Emote to shoot gun in air.
