My wishlist has only one item:

A hero pet class utlizing a single pet.

The player would have 2-3 different types of even-level pets they could train, but only one could be out at a time. The secondary would be the dominator "assault" line. Have its class inherent be called "Symbiosis": As long as the pet is alive, and in Supremacy range, it slowly but constantly transfers health and end to the player if the player's health/end levels are lower than the pet's. It can even survive the player's death, although it will constantly lose health until it dies if the player doesn't get a rez. The price: if the pet dies first, the player loses a major chunk of his current health and endurance instantly. The pet is much, much stronger than an MM boss pet, but of course, there is only one as opposed to six. The rest of the player's primary would consist of support or control powers, such as out of Poison or Storm.

Some sets might have a temporary pet or two tacked on, but only the main pet would respond to commands the way MM pets do.

Here are mine

1. Mayhem and Safeguards available in Oroboros
2. No more hunts! Remove them from TF/SFs and old contacts. Then create a "Hunts" contact for players who enjoy them.
3. Make the Shadow Shard a shared zone.
4. Fix bugs.

Would be nice. I suspect this will get filled in slowly over time.

Been asked for forever. I'd predict, no way.

This I'd put in the 99.9999% chance category.

Not without a lot of work to adjust some drop rates - this would drive prices sky high if a bunch of new sets showed up to water down what can drop. (And while we are at it, a new mix of set bonuses on them would be nice.)

I'm all for proliferation. However, at a guess, with everything else coming down the pike for 50s, I'd say anything for new characters is likely to get lower priority in the near.

That would be a significant undertaking, and unlikely with all the apparent incarnate content queued up. That said, it is a zone that needs a serious rework - not least because of the return of the 5th...

Would be nice, but again, with all the apparent incarnate content queued up not likely high on the priority list. It would be nice to be surprised, though.

see the striga comments above... would be great to get more praetoria/faultline style zone content, but I'm not holding my breath.

EDIT: and my list? not drastically different than anything posted here

Thought of a new one last night.

When combining enhancements, make the "Success" animation about 90% shorter. Yes, its very pretty, and I'm sure some intern worked very hard on it, but when I got 30 more slots to work through, it is nothing more than a speed bump.

I actually always make sure i slot +3s just because that thing is so annoying. It would be nice if you could at least turn it off.

Heh good one. Sadly I just don't see this happening. Current game design actually discourages sk'ing down as you lose your incarnate bonuses and of course your set bonuses and IO's become nigh useless, unless you specifically have a "Lowbie" alt build.

I'd like to see some more red side task forces to even the playing field a bit AND the rewards reworked. Why are the redside task forces harder yet give less merits?

I'd also like to see the ability to do bank missions in oro. Trying to find people who have them to get badges is a nightmare if you've passed them up while grouped, which is easy to do.

Annnddd... Ourobors merged into one zone for vill/hero with the portal showing you ports you're allowed to go to.

I usually immediately exit out of the enhancement combination screen after every combination. It's usually faster to exit out and go into the combination screen again than it is to let the success or failure animations play out fully.

I'd love to see a "Beastial Melee" power set (available for multiple archetypes, similar to how Energy Melee is available for several archetypes)...

with powers/attacks like:
1- Lunge (Use tail as Lever/more power to Pounce on a foe with all four limbs for heavy crushing/clawing damage),
2- Stomp (Use tail as Lever to jump on/crush a foe with both legs),
3- Tail-Swipe (fast, moderate damage Tail Whip against a foe),
4- Bite (heavy crush with fangs/horns/bite/tusks against a foe),
5- Claw (quick slashes with arms),
6- Tail-Wrap (Entangle with tail & Hold a foe),
7- Tail-Sweep (Trip multiple surrounding opponents),
8- Feral Rage (Tail swipes, lunge & bite combo back & forth in a cone - against multiple).

I was griping about this myself on BMT of Champion just today. What I'd like is an "Auto Upgrade" button. It should work like this:

1. I walk up to an appropriate vendor, view their "store" if needed, and select the "Auto Upgrade button from the list of SO enhancements on the right.

2. The "Auto Upgrade" button calculates the following:

2a. First it finds the correct origin and the highest level enhancements I can use on that vendor. If it can't find any (all too high level, all too low level, wrong origin) it tells me so and stops.

2b. The it finds each RED enhancement I currently have slotted. This should exclude IOs (they never go red) and any empty slots (they don't count). Also exclude any yellow enhancements, just the expired (RED) ones.

2c. For each RED enhancement, it finds the corresponding SO on the vendor that's the highest level I can use, and tallies up the cost.

2d. Then it displays a dialog: "It will cost XXX Inf to replace all of your RED enhancements with new level (level) enhancements. Do you want to do this? [Yes] [No]'

3. If I select Yes, then it goes ahead and makes the swap as determined in step 2c. I don't want any animations of the SOs combining, or see the Enhancement Management screen, just make the swap silently and deduct the amount from my Inf.

Obviously, if I want to change my slotting, I have to do that manually first, before Auto-Upgrading the rest, but that's a much smaller deal. The big deal is repetitively buying and upgrading the same enhancements every 5 levels.

This. Please. It's silly and annoying the way it is now.

I'm also seconding calls for increased recipe storage. The Vault and one type of base storage (enhancement tables?) would be logical places to store recipes.

Some more thoughts:

1. Allow me to filter level range and origin type on vendors that sell multiple types of enhancements (almost all of them).

2. Also allow me to filter by specific enhancement. For example, Damage, Hold, Jump Height, Heal, etc. I only need one at a time (no need for multiple types at a time) so I can just find the one specific enhancement I'm looking for. A lot of enhancements have similar looking graphics and I often can't tell them apart visually. A filter would help a lot.

Also, I'd like to be able to more easy move my own salvage around. I really hate that little dialog that asks how many of something to transfer, and I want to be able to by-pass it. What I'd like to do is use the Control key and the Shift key to either select one item, or all items up to 10, because that's what I do mostly is move one of something from the Vault to my storage because I'm going to use it, or move all of something to the Auction house or the Vault because I'm storing or selling it.

1. Mouse drag salvage: works as now.

2. Mouse+control drag salvage: moves one item of salvage, no dialog.

3. Mouse+shift drag salvage: moves all, up to 10, of salvage stack, no dialog.

I would soooo run on lowbie teams...

I would like to see a alternate set for each primary and each secondary. So when you level and have to pick powers you have 2 powers to choose from from each primary and each secondary. Would be a great way to diversify the builds and it is like introducing new sets. How many times did I wish with my Earth Rad Troller I just had one or two attacks for solo play reasons.

I would start with the least played sets. I'm pretty sure they have all the stats to determine this. Further it would not break that cottage rule issue.

I'd like a way to block certain recipe drops, like Temp powers. Think about how many purples you might have gotten if your inventory wasn't choked with revolvers and baseball bats.

The answer is probably zero, but it could be as high as ONE!

I lost an Armageddon Purple once. Had the big purple letters flash notifying me of the drop. After I killed all the mobs, I looked in my inventory to see it. Wasn't there...because my inventory was full and there wasn't room for it to fit...but I had some smoke grenades and revolvers.

/Signed on this

I thought the only way for any Recipe to drop was to have an empty slot, if all your slots were choked with grenades and revolvers, you wouldn't/shouldn't have had any purple letter flash (because you can not physically hold anymore recipes, so none would drop)

All I know is I absolutely saw those Purple Letters indicating a drop, and when I looked in my Inventory it was not there, and my Inventory was full.

Maybe you're right, but something stopped me from getting it. I assumed it was due to a full inventory...

Funny - was thinking of starting more or less this exact topic until I stumbled across this so i'll stick my thoughts in here instead.

The tl;dr version of all this is that I would like to see far more bugfixing, rebalancing, proliferations and zone and story revamps. Something approximating to reasoning below:

I appreciate that in the face of rival games it is better to be releasing new content than doing less immediately sexy and headline grabbing stuff such as bugfixes and the rest. The thing is (imo) the game already has a MASSIVE amount of content. The sheer quantity of different powerset combinations is staggering. There are zones everywhere - so many that some are barely used.

The trouble is that not everything works as well as the rest. We have powersets lagging behind others, entire AT's lagging behind, old content that no-one bothers with because it's not as well thought out and written as the newer stuff and bugs that have been around for years that just seem to never have been fixed. Many things have been mentioned in this thread that are all worthy of consideration (and I'm going to list a few of my big ticket items below) but my general point is that I feel that taking a bit of time to fix what we already have, give it a bit of a buff up, would be time better spent than shoving more stuff into the game.

Right - particular things I'd like looked at:

Heroside content - particularly early on. This is just not up to the same standard as the rest particularly in the light of the Pretoria content. I've been playing for years and am well used to the old content but it must be a little jarring for a new player emerging out of Pretoria to find that all of a sudden the context to their missions has just disappeared. There isn't enough tying all of those storylines together, there's not enough of a feeling of being involved in the greater story of the city. Where are the political subplots? Moral choices?

Which leads also to the look of the old zones. Praetoria is shiny and the rest isn't and again our hypothetical newbie fresh out of Praetoria must wonder why Paragon City seems to be in some kind of graphical timewarp.

Powerset rebalancing. I have to state that I love quirky powersets. I find the different mechanics available is precisely the thing that keeps me rolling alt after alt. Therefore the last thing I want to see is for every set be homogenised into a clone of the current fotm. However I'd love to see a bit attention given to those sets that clearly need a bit of help. On every AT board there are endless discussions about the underperformers and what is wrong with them. With this number of people testing and reporting back it couldn't be simpler for the devs to see where this attention is needed (I work in software development and would kill to have the kind of user involvement these guys have).

AT rebalancing. Stalkers need more help on teams. The last attempt at fixing this didn't go far enough and for the sake of changing a few variables this could be alleviated if not completely fixed - see stalker forum for details. This might be a little controversial but imo blaster secondaries could do with being looked at too (as a whole). To my mind blasters give up too much survivability for their damage in comparison to other AT's. If the control effects on their secondary powers were beefed up a bit (devices probably needs a more thorough going over in light of its team usefulness) they would be more survivable and still retain the flavour of the AT.

IO's. More sets please - particularly where the choices are a bit thin on the ground at the minute. Also it seems odd that the defence bonuses have been paired up but the resist ones (which are thin on the ground anyway) haven't. The resist bonuses could probably do with being beefed up too. And while we're on the subject of defence bonuses:

If IO defence is a balance problem (and all indications are that it's looking that way) then change the to hit equation. Split out power generated defence from IO generated defence and allow them to be debuffed separately. That way IO def debuff could be added into the late game to create more challenge without crippling sets that rely on defence granted by powers – ice armour etc.

Phew - that went on longer than I expected! Sorry for the wall of text ...
