  7. oh screw it here it is

    Quote:
    Name: Tank Stormhammer
Specialty: Heavy Weapons and Close Assault Combat
Unit Affiliation: Blood Ravens deep strike covert mercenary group
    Role: Squad Leader
Meta-Human Abilities: Extreme damage resistance and immense strength

In early 2006 the Blood Ravens mercenary group was contracted by General Clayton Barnes to disrupt or take out the Fuego drug cartel's operations in Colombia.
Intial contact was confirmed at the touch down 0400 hours local time, no contact since then.
Local intelligence was then used to confirm what happened, the team had been captured and were being tortured for information. Commander of the op General Barnes was nowhere to be found, so his second in command launched the rescue operation.
A booming voice woke him up, immense pain across his body, weak and sapped of strength, the person asked "who are you? what are you doing here?"
Reflexively he answered with his Name, Rank and Serial number "Stormhammer, Tank. Master Gunnery Sergeant. 021985001" for his efforts he received a knee to his chest.
This time with more rage in his voice the interrogator asked him "what the **** are you doing here capitalist scum?" again he answered with only his name, rank and serial number.
Now visibly annoyed the man in the room jammed a massive needle into his arm and with a massive smirk on his face said "Let's see how you like this!"
a wave of disorientation washed over him combined with a intense sense of vertigo which made him sick to his stomach. all the strength is his body left him.
He tried to move but to no avail, his body didn't want to move. after 30 minutes another person came into the room, they picked him up, strung him out and started to beat various parts of his body, pain like nothing he can describe hit his senses
He attempted to scream but could not, no muscle in his body would react, as each hit tore muscles and shattered bones. After what seemed like a eternity it stopped, adrenaline spiked through his bloodstream, changing whatever chemical they injected into him.
It redshifted his bodies healing processes to unknown proportions, healing his muscles and mending his bones also making them stronger. after 30 seconds his muscles rock hard and his bones iron dense, he got up in a fury, punched the interrogator so hard
his innards exploded out of his back completely liquified along with bits of bone, he hit the ground lifeless, the second person didn't make it 3 steps before his head was shattered by bone crunching jab.
Busting out of the holding cell, he rampaged through the base, shrugging off bullet hits and rpg's fired at him, searching for his team. he only found the teams sniper, Lotus.
Pick her up after he used the only emergency radio still working that wasn't tampered with by the cartel.
4 hours later, on their way back to the Carrier group off the coast, he sat and thought of what had happened.
He swore one thing, Clayton Barnes is a dead man...
  8. Hey there's always AMD...

that said, i love my dual gtx 460's though
  9. would post it, but it's kinda graphic in the gore description

and would fit a vigilante brute more than a heroic tanker
  10. heh, it's the LOTG 7.5% that's funding the set splurge

    thanks for the info
  11. sign me up!

was awesome when they tried to level my tank

i summarily smashed it to bits but still.
    WANT THIS POWER!
  12. Dunno if this has been mentioned and i could not find it with the search function so here goes.

as the thread title states, a buy back feature from normal store vendors for those times you accidentally sell something to a vendor you didn't mean to.

i once sold a respec recipe and was pretty cheesed off at the fact that there was no buy back like some other games have/had, Tabula Rasa coming to mind.

    yay or nay?

  13. damn, wanted to do some tips to feed my current set habit for my blaster

oh well will have to wait
  14. can't login with any character.

  16. having struck it lucky with a few merit purchases, i decided to go for a few sets on my Ar/Dev blaster. here's what i'm looking at in mids.

i'm not aiming for anything weird like soft capping or that, just pure fun

any crits or advice or other sets i can look at will be appreciated

    no purps... too dang expensive

  17. Great review.

now on to my criticism's on the product itself

too many buttons really, more to go wrong

and given the fact that my mice take a pounding from fps's, razer's and me don't have a good track record. 5 different razers bit the dust. left mouse button failing under pressure, pcb cracked each time...
  18. best bit here? the community actively discussing the pro's, con's, up's and down's of the story.

job done i think for the writers

that said i tried doing a crusader arc first: achmed, ali and osama would be happy...

then i tried loyalist power, egopower trips don't do it for me

next up was loyalist responsibility, Edmond Burke's quote comes to mind "All that's needed for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing" all they do is reinforce the status quo

finally i tried Resistance Warden arc: i liked this one a lot, sure there are some nasty bits to it, but overall it's the one that goes best with my view of things in the game
  19. some of those folks have some flippen amazing skills!
  20. i'd love new blaster secodary that'd fit with dual pistols, devices is almost there but fits better with AR or Archery
  21. HeavyTank

    FrankenCastle

What the heck did they do to my favorite character!?
  22. all my new tanks are on hold til this changes comes through.

honestly i love the class, my favorite in the game but the lower levels are a bit of a shlep to be honest.

but hey on the upside i'll be trying out a few new combo's now
  23. option 1

    without a second thought
  24. Tank Buster

kinda funny as i use it on my main tank
