That's no longer a bug... it;s a feature. 8D

It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets

... Hit it ...

i'd thank the devs but given this would have never happened if the mitos weren't "fixed" in the first place... it's good to have a more sensible mag applied to the mitos for an 8 person TF.

As an aside, I would have been fine with the mag 53 if the lgtf were given a much higher merit reward (maybe 35 to 40 merits?). What ever happened to risk VS Reward?
we can have risk vs reward when they have someone go to your house and beat you with a stick if you fail a TF. there it is, just like you asked. They killed risk vs reward a long time ago when they changed so many mobs to 0xp because they are summoned. they can certainly kill you.

Lots of 50's yada yada. still finding fun things to do.
Cthulhu loves you, better start running

You are in a maze of twisty little passages

My rule of "Any build, any budget, no exclusions" remains, but for one TF, I had to reserve four spots on the team for controllers/dominators. I didn't specify which kind, and I didn't even bother to specify that they had holds.
I wouldn't have bothered explaining yourself Dechs Kaison, it's pretty obvious that someone was just trying to start a useless arguement for no other reason than to try to feel superior. Unfortunately some people seem to like doing that.

I hate having a pop up for accept/decline Fortune. I can be in the middle of battle when it happens. I'd rather the buff be removed from game if people can't handle a minor graphic piece and sound effect for it. I would think a prompt would be worse... actually, to many, it IS.

At least make it where I don't have to accept/decline 50 fortunes when I am already buffed with one. Or make it where we can turn the prompt on or off.

When i17 went live i had to manually change my graphics settings on the individual bars to stop the lagging that was constant [even though the settings were exactly the same as before i17 it only worked when i changed it to something else, then used the manual change to change it back].

Now with this patch i had to do the exact same thing. Is it something wrong with my pc? Connection is fine btw.

Warrior option still missing from Female Bottoms

I think that's the best solution until they can add some way of accepting or declining buffs in the options menu.

It is no longer possible to create an un-completeable mission with defendable objects.
Was that an exploit, or just a way that missions could be innocently broken?

Quote:
Fixed a bug that allowed players to get mission completion awards multiple times.
An alternative levelling path?

Quote:
Lady Gray Task Force: Reduced the Green Mitos’ hold protection from magnitude 53 to magnitude 10.
A very welcome fix - I'd been avoiding the LGTF since the "weakened" Hamidon started taking steroids

Quote:
Fixed a bug that caused only Wolf Spider minions to count towards the Spider Smasher badge.
That's been around so long I thought it was WAI

Quote:
The drink emote will no longer cause female characters to slide back and forth.
I use that emote quite often, but I've never seen that happen to me.

Quote:
Faultline – The Safeguard mission in this zone now correctly starts at a PPD van instead of a cave entrance.

Positron Task Force Part 1: The final mission door is now located in trams instead of an office building.
I'm glad they're fixing little things like these - although some Radio missions still give strange doors

Quote:
Katie Hannon Task Force – in the “Defeat Mary MacComber” mission, the successive waves attacks did not increase in difficulty as intended. This has been fixed.
I'm sure I've been on runs where the waves have been higher and higher levels...

Anyway, a very nice patch with some good QOL fixes in it.

basically this. what happened to "this patch will be pushed later this week"? good to know one week = close to a month and a half.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

I honestly don't think these are the only things you guys did to AE with this patch.
What are some of the things that you've noticed since the patch went live?

Something's changed with Shadow Map shadows...

They're fading in with a much smoother 'edge' and I'm sure the options have changed somehow in the Graphics and Sound tab. But my memory won't tell me what the options used to be, so I can't be 100% certain.

Anyone else noticed a change?

I don't recall ever seeing that said. Is there a link to said quote?

somewhere. i remember castle saying that after the 20 pages of nerdrage against the 50 mag prot.

EDIT: i believe it was in the patch on test thread but i can't seem to find it. regardless, a month and a half is a fairly long time for something that could have been pushed during a weekly server maintenance

send a letter of rage to Q&A, since it falls on them

And now an update... within a few hours of the new patch. The GM ExFarm has been replaced with a new AV ExFarm.

It's final solution time... remove EXPs from AE

I only recall him mentioning it'd be pushed to the internal build or whatever. They make changes and it gets put into the internal build. When that comes to live is a different story.
Still, I could be wrong. It just doesn't sound, at all, like Castle (Or any of the Devs) to make any declaration of when a new fix would hit live.

Umm. My characters on the char select screen are ghosts now.

EDIT: Still no relief for invisible mouse or blank contact/costumes. Or the INTENSE FPS drop since i17 hit even with my settings lower than they used to be (no UM).

Shush, it is was nerfed from 38 to 36 not too long ago.

By the way, I was referring to why my custom mobs gave 99%+ XP Monday, and now after the patch with the same powers and settings were at like 80-82%. I had to basically make them take all powers ( Extreme Settings basically ), to get the 100% again. Slightly furious about that is what I was remarking on.

Anyone else notice their custom mobs getting lower xp compared to pre-patch?

Nope.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Word.

I guess giving griefers another tool to screw with me while I street sweep trumps not being able to decline a buff. Oh, the horror...

Truth is, those that didn't want the buff AT ALL (waaah!) were louder (not more numerous) than those who didn't want the annoying pop-up in their face.
